A Missal for Toddlers

Even though he just turned 3. We have been practicing his sign of the cross. Seeing the photos related to Sunday Mass really has him eager to go. It's definitely with us at every mass now.

Our toddler loves this book! It has helped her become familiar with Mass while we're at home and ask questions, while also making Mass relatable to her while we are there. This is now a staple gift we give to other families!

It is a great guide to get baby familiar with the richness of our faith.

I reviewed many child missals, and this one was by far the best layout for toddlers. Great photos and simple, but direct exclamations of the different parts of the mass.

Great little book to take to mass!

I got this for my 2 year old granddaughter for Easter and it is even better than I expected. Her parents really like it and it has been used it a lot during Mass on the last couple of Sundays since Easter. My granddaughter loves studying the pages during Mass and then looking around to find many of the same things in the church, such as the candles, stain glass windows, priest, etc. The book has good quality thick board pages and the pictures are attractive and clear. I am very pleased with this purchase.

My 3 year old likes to use this to follow along during mass. I would probably say this is for a 3-5 year old, not a younger toddler.

I got this for my 26 month old. It has a good overview of what happens in Mass. We read it together so I could explain what was happening. During church I sometimes turn to the appropriate in the book to show him. It helped him understand what the priest looks like. It helped us talk about being quiet in church.

We take this book to mass as part of our mass bag and our toddler loves matching what she sees on the pages with what is happening during the Mass. It would be nicer if there was a few more parts of the Mass included, but it really is a lovely book.

LOVE this book! Great intro to the Mass, and the illustrations are adorable. We keep this in our Mass bag so my toddler doesn't get to read it at home, and it's "special" for church. I especially love the line about keeping quiet while Mom and Dad pray! ;)
