Received this very quickly, and packed well. This is necessary for building a crystal radio set, one of our school science projects.

You pay a premium for Germanium diodes because they have a forward voltage drop of .3V rather than the silicon diode's voltage drop around .7V. Well, I ordered from this seller and put them in my circuit and it didn't work. Couldn't figure out why, until I tested the diode today and found it to have a voltage drop of .628. In other words, IT'S A FAKE.Waste of money and my time.

it didnt work for my project

The diode work great in a crystal radio I made using wire wraped around a cardboard grits can. I took me back to the fifties when we built crystal radios in school.
