Easy, simple tool
Tool is well made with high quality metal and plastic. Metal end bores out wax around the buried wick and is easy to clean with supplied plunger. Length of tool enabled us to reach down into candles to renew them. Easy to use and simple design does the job. Thanks.

Not sure if this is better than a knife
I bought this as I always have a candle that seems to need some of the wax "cut out" for it to melt right. This is a bit more challenging to use than I had thought it would be. I am not sure if it is worth it over using just a knife.

This little tool works perfectly to rescue all those old candles I've saved due to the wick being buried! I'm going to save money by not having to buy so many candles! The plunger provided cleans the tool out to be used again and again! Love it! See my attached picture.

It really works!
I looked for videos on youtube to try to figure out how to save a candle with a buried wick and saw this device. So, I found it here on Amazon and I'm so happy it actually works and that I don't have to get a torch to melt the wax and spill off wax, or embed a different wick. Easy peasey and no mess to clean up.

Handy, sturdy, easy to use tool that saves my fingers from getting burned trying remove the wax near the wick and really allows the candles the last longer. No complaints, glad I made the purchase!

Wow! What a joy to use. So easy and efficient. I had more than one candle to "rescue" so I did a comparative test. One with a small knife, the other using the Candle Rescue tool. The knife made a mess and wax shaving were difficult to remove. After re -lighting the candle, I was soon back where I started from. The Candle Rescue did what it said it would do quickly. I went around the house and cleaned all the candles we own. It gave each one a better flame when lit.Christmas shopping just got a little easier.
