I needed a few more high speed USB 3.0 ports and this is perfect. I love the power switches individually provided for each of the four ports, and the cool thing is that they remember their settings, so when you power down your computer, they are in the same position you had them when you power back on again. The power switches are integrated with a blue light that comes on so you have a visual indicator that the power is on to any specific port. Also, I have a Logitech lighted keyboard, and it works perfectly when plugged into this USB extension, lights and all. I also have an external 4 terabyte hard drive and while it does have it's own power source, it works perfectly when connected through this extension, just as it should. I've only had two devices connected through it at the same time, but both work flawlessly in simultaneous operation. Oh, and while I have not tried the phone fast charge system through this device, it does take a standard 5v power supply which I had laying around; I suspect it will work fine. This USB extension is a very useful addition to a PC with limited USB port connectivity and is attractive on my desktop.For those that may question about what happens if you try to draw too much current from your USB port, I read a few articles on-line and learned that most PCs are designed with internal USB over-current protection to prevent you from damaging the motherboard, or other internal components. I'm not sure this applies to less expensive PCs, but if the PC you intend to use this extension on is of this variety, you might want to check the specs and make sure you do not pull more power from your USB port than it is designed to handle. For example, if the devices you intend to plug into this extension are of a powered variety (you plug them into the wall), or of a low power consumption variety such as a memory stick, should not be a problem. I'm using this with a lighted keyboard on an Alienware 17 R3 and it is no problem.I would definitely buy this device again.

The media could not be loaded.  awesome awesome awesome! just what I needed...FAST CHARGING too! And I have a Samsung Galaxy! That's with ALL 4 ports charging a bunch of all my other devices...i tested it with my Ipad, Fitbit watch, PS4 remote control, cell phone, and even a random rechargeable bike light I bought on Amazon. This is compatible with ALL of them, which is awesome because sometimes you buy a charger and it charges the android but not the Apple product, or vice versa. Super annoying.The most important thing to me was how long it takes to charge my phone, i've had chargers that charge so slow my phone actually says "phone is draining faster than is being charged". So this one pass the test. it also connects to my MAC and can be used as extra USB slots too. If you have a 5.0V DC charger you can use that and I guess it charges faster at 2.0amps instead of 1.5amp....but I don't think it's necessary, this charges my phone fast enough, even with all the other ports charging my other devices.

Awesome. My PC doesn't have enough USB ports for all the things i need to use, so i bought this and it works great.I have my external hard drive, phone, wireless headset charging as well as wireless phone charging all hooked up to it and it works great.Data transfers are fast, so i can access my hard drive, copy files, store things at normal speed as well as with my phone.Highly recommended. Good price too.

It helps a lot and it's charge other devices beside ps4 controllers I recommended it for anyone who have ps4 or a usb outlet but the thing I was disappointed 😞 about is when I plug my usb flash drive on it the ps4 didn not read it but still great product wall it works for all kind of usb. I think I will buy it again 😍

I had thought this came with a power supply, but it doesn't. It has to be powered off of a usb port It has a connection for a 5 v power supply if you happen to have one that fits. The polarity of the power supply is not specified at the connection so I don't know whether the center pin is + or -. Maybe someone here has already found an answer to that question.

Works well except one of the usb ports doesn't charge
