Very fun to use with a trail cam!
Very fun to use with a trail cam. Wish the doc pole camera mounting was specifically rated/advertised/designed for the weight of a trail cam, but so far it’s worked great with ours! So far we’ve captured daily fun nature footage from all sorts of heights. We use the trail cam straight up on the pole (don’t want to put too much off center weight on the docapole camera mount). By using the pole to hold the trail cam, I can take the camera up and down in moments, no need for ladders or drilling holes. Pole very well made and sturdy. We liked the docapole so much, we bought a shorter one too and lots of cleaning attachments. The bird feeder hanger attachment has been helpful too. Levers well made, pole sections slide smoothly, nice quality overall. Definite asset for many uses. Hope this review is useful to you.

The swivel is lacking.
The pole is fine for my job as a home inspector. The swivel piece leaves a lot to be desired. The screw for the camera comes loose with the camera and the swivel had to be stabilized with a washer of my own since it wouldn’t stay in place.
