Bought for my grandson. Great price for the value. We have had some issues with the buttons sticking, but to be fair, it probably because my 8 year old grandson likes to snack and play with greasy finger.

Stick 1st valve, poor intonation and does not slot
This is a GREAT horn for a student through high school. It is not, however, what I consider a semi pro horn. Its intonation is not good.From low C to low G, the horn is sharp making the 1st tuning slide a necessity for low E and F. And, obviously, the 3rd tuning slide is also necessary for low C# and D. It also does not slot very easily. This mtt 40 has a sticky 1st valve also. After playing a Holton ST 302, I wanted to try a ML bore. But, the blow on the mtt40 is as much if not more effort that the L bore. That fact along with the intonation issues, sticky first valve and poor slotting are the reasons that I returned the horn.
