does not work well with new macbook pro. once i connect the device the wifi function stops working.

Mostly works with my new Samsung Galaxy S8. It will charge the smartphone and the HDMI output worked perfectly. I was also able to use a wireless mouse and keyboard with an RF receiver plugged into the USB port. However, I tried multiple USB flash drives connected to the USB port but none were ever detected by the Galaxy S8.

Pass through charging on the newest mac pro delivers 81W, vs. 86W if I plug the charger in directly. Not bad. USB speeds not quite as fast as on my older mac pro, but not bad.

This has the worst build quality I have ever seen, and it doesn't work at all!!! I have no idea why people saying it works nicely and has a good build quality. To me, it looks very dirty out of the box and the blue plastic USB ports look like as a $2 adapter, and even a $2 adapter works, but this doesn't work. I have to return it.

Works perfectly for my Samsung Galaxy TabPro, which comes only with a USB-C port.

This adapter has never once worked. I got on amazon just now to try to return it, and realized I missed the return-by date. My MacBook Pro with touchbar won't recognize that anything is plugged into it, but the adapter I bought from the Apple Store works just fine. Don't waste your money on this.

Works great. I like how the hub also act as the charger.
