Ratings are funny things; do we rate the product, packaging, ease or difficulty of installation, instructions, etc.? There are so many facets to a rating that need to be considered and unless every aspect is perfect giving a 5 star rating is difficult to justify. I will say that the chair itself is almost perfect; the color and leather is beautiful; soft and subtle and feels elegant. The variety of available adjustments allow someone to find the perfect position for the best comfort level. The only thing that would make the chair perfect would be the addition of adjustable lumbar support.Assembly is a little tricky; I did most of it myself but needed hubby’s help with inserting the wheels (fit was very tight, even for him) and putting the rest together was definitely a balancing act. Instructions could be better; they consist of mostly pictures and the couple of written steps were confusing at best (“put the back leather paste on the seat” – what the heck was that supposed to mean? Finally figured out it meant to attach the seat and back using the Velcro strip.) My advice is if possible use two people, but even if doing it alone it wasn’t all that bad.The box was pretty beat up and I was pleasantly surprised that nothing was missing and any damage was minimal (a few minor scratches on the wheel base and arms but no damage to the chair itself and all the mechanicals work fine.) I spent days looking for the perfect office chair and had a different one on the top of my list until I saw this one. I really wasn’t considering a chair with a separate reclining/tilting back but I’m glad the chair has this; it’s nice to be able to recline when I need a break. I work on a computer all day and need a good supportive comfortable chair, and this one seems to fit those needs nicely, and is gorgeous to boot. Some may find the seat length a little short, but for me it’s perfect; allows me to sit upright with my back and neck supported (no more slouching forward!) It’s also nice to be able to adjust the back height so that the top pad is just where I need it to be. Bottom line, I strongly recommend the chair – it’s gorgeous, comfortable, and for the price it’s well worth it. It’s a definite 4 1/2 stars all day, but you can only do 4 stars.

Comfortable, but the cream color had an unpleasant greenish cast. Returned.

Even at the easiest setting, chair is hard to rock. Also very stiff padding. Uncomfortable.

I'm very picky about chairs. This chair offers three separate lever adjustments, including a lever to adjust the seat so you don't feel like your slipping out of chair. The chair arms are not moveable, but I prefer arms down.

Was exactly as described. Bought for my son and he seems to like it. Looks good and does exactly what the description says!
