Denix 25 Dummy Rounds Solid Metal Display Pieces - They are Much Smaller Than 45 Cal

Great product and in comparison to other replicas I have handled, far superior. I did return this item however, and exchanged it for silver replicas as I had intended to order. Fine quality and great service.

I ordered the 25 Replica Bullets to go with my new .45 holster & replica Colt .45. The bullet size is not suggested so I was somewhat disappointed when the bullets fell through the the loops. The prop gun however is chambered for the dummies, so that's good. The bullets arrived quickly and were everything they were advertised to be. The fault I found was with the incomplete description which led me to believe they would fit my holster.

I wanted these items for my cowboy gun belt. Real cartridges are too heavy. Denix rounds are smaller than .38 caliber cartridges. I had never had real .38s in the belt loops, so the undersized Denix cartridges fit the belt loops ok, though not all that tightly. The gun belt looks great now. Thought about painting the bullets gray or silver, but since the cartridges don’t stick out the bottom of the loops anyway, I probably will leave them alone. For comparison purposes, the cartridges shown above the belt are, from left to right, .38 Special, Denix, 9mm, .380. Do wish the Denix were full size .38s.
