4.5 gripping stars!
If you love reading romance with suspense, some thrill and mystery you should definitely pick this one up! This is the first book in The Edens series and we get to meet the Eden clan where everyone has their own unique personality. Winslow Covington returns to the town of Quincy because she got a job as the Chief of police. She meets Griffin Eden the eldest son of the Eden family and they have a one nightstand without knowing each other's real identity at first but as they have a second encounter, it becomes clear that Griffin's family kind of owns the town and he is the last person whom Winslow should have slept with. The first case she has to solve is about a mysterious sequence of events that took place at Indigo ridge. As Winslow & Griffin's relationships evolves, the intrigue about the case becomes intense. I was so engrossed in both the plot and the relationship between Winn & Griff because both their characters were very well developed. And the book is filled with some great side characters like the Eden siblings. I can't wait for each of them to finally have their own book! I'm looking forward to continue this series. The muder mystery definitely held my attention and the epilogue was spot on!

Devney Perry brings us a whole new romantic suspense that's hard to put down with Indigo Ridge.
Indigo Ridge is the first book in the brand new Eden series by Devney Perry. Winslow Covington is the new chief of police for the small town of Quincy, Montana and has to win favour with the town’s founding family, the Edens in order for the town to accept her. The only problem is that her one night mistake is none other than Griffin Eden, whom she can’t avoid because a woman is found dead on his property. What I Liked:- fast paced story that flows smoothly- badass heroine who is also a kind, caring soul- grumpy, caring hero who has respect for Winn’s job- a murder mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat- clues that leave you nowhere close to guessing who the murderer is- a huge, loving family with a great mix of personalities- connection to characters from one of DP’s older booksThe best part of Indigo Ridge might be that Devney Perry gave us a female cop who is dedicated to keeping the town safe and solving the murder despite being considered an outsider by the town. Griffin is a dreamy hero with a heart of gold. It is a wonderful change of pace to see that neither of them fight their attraction or feelings and let things take their own course. The murder mystery is very well written and it was impossible for me to guess the culprit until it was revealed in the story.Devney Perry has given us yet another captivating romantic suspense that has you hooked right from the first page. You already know I’m going to read every single one of the books she writes in this series, so there's really no need for me to tell you again. What I will tell though is, read this book as soon as you can get your hands on it. You won’t regret it.Special Thanks to Valentine PR and Devney Perry for providing an Advanced Reader Copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Review
I’m in my small-town era. I loved this book!I knew it was going to be a favourite after reading 50 pages. I was hooked from the 1st chapter. The writing, the setting, and the main characters, I felt good while Reading this book. I felt at peace.Whenever I opened the book, I’d lose myself in the story. Time passed like a flash, if I wanted I’d read this in one sitting – but I wanted to spend as much time as possible with this book, so I didn’t do that. It’s that good! The chemistry between Winslow and Griffin was spot on! I so loved following characters in their early 30s – something about this little detail did it for me.I like Winslow, it was fresh to follow a woman starting a new professional challenge at 30. To find love at 30. To follow her gut, despite everyone telling her not to. It gave me so much hope. That’s the thing about this book, it was so relatable. It hit close to home.Griffin…damn. I fell in love with this man. One of my all-time favourite male characters. I had my feet kicking in the air! Gosh, men written by women at its best! He had it all.A lovely surprise was the dual pov. Loved it. In my humble opinion, it adds a lot to a romance, to follow both main characters.Even the mystery element was so well done! And it didn’t take the focus off the romance, the balance between both was perfect. I had my suspicions and I was half right!Oh my, I don’t know what else to say. I absolutely loved this book, I will 10000% read all the other books in The Edens. I’ve got a really good feeling – I see a new favourite series/book/world coming my way!And it also took just this one book, for me to add every single book the author has written to my tbr. I haven’t felt this way about a book/author for a while. It made me fall in love with reading again.

OMG WOW
OMG WOW. Indigo Ridge is the first in The Eden's series.Griffin and Winn were amazing. He runs the family ranch, and Winn is the new Quincy Police Chief. Everything about this story will have you on the edge of your seat, and I mean everything.Winn had some difficulty getting her officers to like her. It's interesting how small-town life really amps up the gossip mill. Winn dived in headfirst, and after solving her first huge mystery, she never looked back. Finding out how many suicides occurred in the little town over a few years seemed weird, and with the most recent, she couldn't shake her feeling that something wasn't quite right. You have to read this story. OMG I literally suspected one guy, but then I was taken aback by who was making the murders appear to be suicides. This was a fantastic read. I'm going to read Juniper Hill right away.

Adored this book!
“Don’t take your mind for granted, Griffin. Or your heart. They are your gifts. And they are not guaranteed from one day to the next.”🏔 Small Town Romance🏔 Cowboy Romance🏔 One Night Stand🏔 Suspense🏔 Female Cop⚠ Death of Parents4.5⭐/ 2 🌶This is my first Devney Perry book and I'm obsessed! I was already in my small town summer romance era and now I need to read all of Devney's books before I burnout. ☀The way she described Montana makes me want to go there so bad! I even went as far as to look up flights. 😅✈I loved Winn so much! She's such a strong character despite everything she went through before and during this book. It's not easy moving to a new town and starting over, especially a small town where the rumor mill is busy and you may not be altogether welcome. Winn did not let any of this stop her and and I loved that! She stuck to her guns and her beliefs!Winn and Griffin's relationship was just delicious. The fact that he just couldn't stay away from her was swoony! I LOVED his quips when he interacted with her ex, Skyler. One in particular almost had me spitting out my drink. 😂The suspense in this book was so good! I thought I knew what was going to happen and then :bam: Devney threw in multiple curveballs. Well done, Ms. Perry!I can't wait for Knox's story next!! 😍

Indigo ridge by Devney Perry
A very brilliant unusual plot. Intriguing and full absorbing. I couldn't stop reading. However, I found eccessive the description of the course inflicted on the protanist, in the second and last part of the story. It is a romance, not a noir, drama queen. If no for this, I would give more than five stars.

Romantic Suspense Gold
Indigo Ridge is a small town romance that follows Winn as she relocated to the town of Quincy, Montana to start her new job as Chief of Police. And the night before her first day on the job she meets Griffen Eden, the oldest of the Eden children, the founding family of the town. Add in the fact that her grandfather is the mayor, she’s the youngest Chief the town has had, she’s a WOMAN, and she had a one-night-stand with not only a local but an EDEN, and Winn’s new life isn’t as smooth as a transition as she was hoping. But there is more to Quincy than meets the eye, and after learning that the quaint town has a disturbingly large history of unexplained suicides for such a small town, Winn’s job as Chief becomes that much harder.Honestly, I really really enjoyed this book. I loved Winn and the fact that she was Chief. I loved that she didn’t let anyone put her down or take away from her position. I especially loved when she put Griffin in his place over it, reminding him that he can’t pick and choose when she’s the Chief. She made the tough decisions, but also showed compassion. I loved her relationship with Griffin and how it easily flowed from one phase to the next. Their chemistry and pace was just natural. Now, for the plot of the book. It had me hooked. I actually wish we had gotten a little more, because I felt like one we got to the height of the climax, things got a little rushed. I had a little suspicion of one of the characters ultimately involved, but I was truly surprised by the ultimate reveal that happened and would have like a little bit more from that whole situation. It was super fun to read and I definitely was craving more! The epilogue was cute and got me so excited for Juniper Hill!
