My first purchase of this case lasted me for 8 months without any issues until I dropped my phone. It saved me from having the back glass broken a few times. Base on that first purchase I'd rate this case a 5. Love the very slim case and low profile design.So I ordered another one after one too many drops. But the second purchase broke on the bottom very easily. I chalked it up as a bad one I got so I bought another one. But this next one did the same thing. I'm feeling there's the material used is different. It feels more brittle and cracks as soon as that corner slit gets caught in your pocket. Not sure, but both recent case had the same problems. I do like the design of the case but the quality isn't there

I really like to have slim matte cases for my phones. Previously, I had one from Spigen for my galaxy s7 and I LOVED it. Now, for the galaxy s8, this case is just okay.Pros:- Slim- Black- Matte- Smooth- Feels and looks unnoticeableCons:- Very slippery in my hands because it's so smooth (not as rubbery as I thought)- A lot harder and stiffer than I expected (cannot flex/bend it at all)- Buttons are hard to press - feels like I'm pressing them from an angle (the buttons are covered at the edge so it feels weird to press because it's right up against the buttons) I mean it's good that it's protecting the side/buttons but functionality wise, this really turns me off.Neutral: Has the smallest, tiniest raise/bump at the front top/bottom of the phone (not sure if I place my phone face down if it'll touch the surface - it's so minimally raised)

Bought this as a replacement for what I thought was the exact same product. The previous one has probably saved me at least 4-5 major scratches & cracks on my G S8. The old case was slim and provided the perfect balance of grip and ease of use. The material was far from indestructible but for the price I have no issue replacing every six months if it meant it was cracking instead of my phone.Got the new one today and immediately could tell it was different. In fact it has already slipped out of my hand in the 15min I've had it on. This one is actually slipperier than having no case at all.Given the low price point it isn't worth returning but I would strongly recommend not choosing this case. I'll use it until it breaks, likely this week given how hard it is to hold, and go another direction. Shame because the one I had purchased 8-9 months ago was perfect. Still fits great but defeats the purpose when I can't hold onto the phone.

I love this case! I wanted something that would protect my phone, but be as minimally intrusive as possible. This fit the bill! I am actually on my second one right now, so that says a lot if I am willing to order another. I was with my buddy the other day and set my phone on the counter. He looked at it, then put his next to it. His was huge compared to mine. He asked what phone I had, I said a Galaxy S8. He said "No way, that's the same phone I have, but yours is so much smaller!". It was simply because of the case.Now, if you are the type of person that drops their phone a lot, then this case is probably not for you. I rarely, if ever, drop my phone, so I am not looking for a huge amount of protection, just something to keep it nice.Now, this came with a card to "register" it for a lifetime warranty. Well, dumb me didn't do it the first time I purchased this item, hence purchasing again. But I had the case for just over a year and have been very happy with it. I registered this one, so we will see how well the warranty works if this one breaks.Mine first broke when the small piece that goes over the power button broke. It is very thin in these areas. I just took the piece off and lived with it. Then the other week when taking it out of my pocket the edge on one corner (there are small openings at all corners) caught my jeans and tore the case. Yes, tore, not broke. The material is pliable. I think it got a little more brittle with time as the new case has a slightly softer feel to it.A pop socket adheres excellent on the back. I love the texture. It is smooth without being slippery.

I bought this case for my Samsung Galaxy S8 back in February 2018. It is now September 5th 2018, and I have to say I truly did love this case as it held up over the last six and a half months with no issues I loved how it was super thin and slid in and out of my pockets with no struggle at all. But after just about 3 or 4 months of owning it as I would be taking it in and out of my pocket the corners that are slit on all four corners of the case for some reason, however I'd have the phone in my pocket, as I pull it out sometimes it would just get caught on my jeans or whatever I'm wearing on the way out and tug on the plastic slit of the case a bit and I wouldn't be able to slide it out as easily. And then finally after so many months of that it finally broke. The corner chipped off completely, and later the entire bottom half of the case snapped off one day. So now I'm without a case for my phone and when I did get this case it came with a lifetime warranty so I am going to reach out to the manufacturer maxboost and see if they're going to uphold that so-called lifetime warranty, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that. So at the same time I'm looking at buying a new one from someone else. But then again I only paid $10 for this so you get what you pay for I guess in the end. And I don't like big fat bulky cases for phones I need something that's Slim and easy to get in and out of your pocket. Which is why this one was perfect. And even when I dropped my phone a couple times it did protect my phone perfectly so I was happy about that. I'm just disappointed about it breaking the way it did because of the design with each Corner having those little slits in them. And that's how they get caught sometimes when you take it in and out of your pocket
