Winix 5300 seems to be same size as Winix 5500; can't I just use this filter set in the 5300 for higher performance?

I have both and I just tried this today. The problem is not the fit of the filters, it that the mesh screen is a different design between the two. If you could get the mesh screen from a 5500, the 5500 filter pack would fit in a 5300 (535.) I don't think you can get just the mesh screen, and if you could, the total might be as much as buying a whole new one.

How do i reset the reset button after i have changed the filter?

After changing the filters, turn the power onto the unit then use a paperclip to press the RESET switch for 5 seconds.

Why over a month for delivery?

Never heard of it taken a month I've always receive them in a couple days
