much easier than using the user-unfriendly drug book
They offer a quick general overview of the main drugs. A must for assignments, reviews and first time reading about a specific med. This however DOES NOT replace a drugbook, when one needs an indepth info about certain medications, hence I doubt it'll be useful to an RN that's been in the field for several years. But again, this is a must for RN / LPN students or anyone trying to brush up on their knowlegde of common meds. (actually their list is quite extensive). The layout is fabulous. It's divided into fields that are easy to see, read, and grasp. The cards look and read cool, unlike the dry and factual medbook upon which it's based.if i have to think of one MINUS, i'd say that the box they come in won't last for a while. A better bet would be to find a pouch and carry a few cards at a time, or buy a plastic container and evacuate the contents of the original packaging into a more durable receptacle.I had owned another set of drug cards (Nurse's MedDeck)... and there's no comparison! the MedDeck is just like a drugbook. Lots more info than Pharm Phalsh for sure, but what's the point of having med cards if using them is a pain? (In such a situation I'd rather use a real medbook so that I don't lose individual cards/pages)

So much more assessable than a drug book
I am a second year nursing student, enrolled in a RN program which to say the very least is very challenging. Pharm Phlash is such a helpful tool that I use during my clinical rotations. The information is easy to read and understand. The pictures really help you remember the area of the body the drug is targeted for. Pharm Phlash is much quicker than using a traditional drug reference book. I will continue to use Pharm Phlash after I graduate. I would suggest every nursing student invest in Pharm Phlash and instructors and educational instutions should put Pharm Phlash on their "recommended book" lists. Thanks for publishing such a helpful tool!!!!!!!!

BAD! BAD! BAD!
I ordered the pharmaocology flash cards on sept 1st,I did not know that they were being shipped from INDIA! certified mail. With my hectic scedule I was not here when they were delievered sept 15th. I finally recieved my order today the packaging was pitiful, they used an old box and overkilled on the packing tape. The cards themselves had a lot more then shelfware as stated in the sellers notes the box is ripped and cracked down the back and the cards theselves are bent at corners and some of the med cards were not in their proper tab! I will not order from books a plenty again It was definatley not worth the 25 bucks I paid.

Love these cards
Love these cards. I'm a first year nursing student and these cards were a great buy for me. I worried there wasn't enough of the info on the cards but after using them along with my current year drug book I feel like these have pulled what you need to know about each drug and put it on a great little card. When we are working with a group of meds I pull the ones I need and clip them together for quick reference. Would buy again and all my classmates have been asking where I got them

Time-saver only if you're allowed to use them
My intention for buying these flash cards Pharm Phlash!: Pharmacology Flash Cards is to use them in clinicals, but I just found out from my instructor that we have to make our own med sheets to bring to clincals. I decided to keep them anyway to study for the pharmacology test that's coming up very soon. Hopefully it'll serve me well.PROS: The drugs are grouped in color-coded classes, which I think is great. There's an index in the back with the drug names listed alphabetically and the card number for each drug, so it's very easy to pull out just the drugs you need by their numbers. The cards are thin but laminated, so I expect it to be durable.CONS: It doesn't include common routes/dosage or implementation. But since I can't use the cards in clinicals so I hope it doesn't matter.

Excellent for nursing clinicals!
These have been so helpful and saved me a lot of time preparing for my clinical days. On clinical I am even able to use them in isolation rooms because they are laminated and you can clean them with bleech wipes! Instead of highlighting and writing notes on them I simply place a sticky note on them with patient specific information each time I use them. I would highly recommend these!

These cards are great!
I get a list of drugs that I need to learn every week and the best way to learn them is by using flashcards. Before using these flashcards I was spending hours making my own. This box doesn't include all the ones I need to know for my Pharmacology class, but now I only need to make two or three a week and it saves me SO much time!

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE A MEDICAL STUDENT!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE A MEDICAL STUDENT!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, here's the deal. This product advertises as a review for the USMLE, it's NOT! It is a review for nursing students. I'm sure its great for that, but it is missing about 40%-50% of the drugs medical students studying for the USMLE step 1 need to know. I bought this with the impression that it would help me with my pharmacology class and the USMLE and instead it's a complete waste of time and money for me. I hope this helps others not make this same mistake.
