32OZ Skunk Odor Remover

I work at an emergency veterinary hospital and for years I have told owners to use the baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and dawn soap recipe. My cat got sprayed by a skunk and I bathed him with that recipe. It definitely helped and I knew he would need multiple baths. The next day I went on Amazon to see if there was another product I can use. I have used Natures Miracle on pet odor stains in my carpet before. Since I had decent results with that product, I went ahead on ordering the skunk solution. I followed the directions and let the cat sit a while in a carrier then bathed him with a pet shampoo. What a noticeable difference. He smells slightly on his head, but the rest of his body smell fine. I'm definitely ordering more for the next time this happens.

I didn’t use a whole bottle, about 1/2. It did help a lot but my dog still had a skunk smell. “I think that I was supposed to use the whole bottle. Directions don’t tell you this and they should.tell you,as well as the website information when you order it.I think that was my problem but since I didn’t use the whole bottle I don’t know for sure. So when you order it order two bottles one in case a whole bottle doesn’t do it, you have another one. Ifthe whole bottle does it do you have another bottle for the next time..of course if you have a big dog order 4 bottles.

No. This was a waste of money. The cat smelled better before washing than after!

This works!!! I've been using the peroxide/dishwashing liquid/baking soda formula (provided by our local Humane Society) and that works too...but it's so nice to be able to grab a bottle and get the "skunked" dog into a safe place and just pour it on. We do live 20 minutes from San Francisco but skunks are everywhere in our neighborhood and they get into our fully fenced yard. At least four times a year I'm scrubbing a dog and living through this mess and Nature's Miracle has made this all so much easier (advice...we have a leash set up in one corner of our patio and basically snap the dog onto this immediately to keep them from running through the house before being "de skunked").

We live in a nexus of skunk domination during the summer months. Our 90 pound Catahoula must bite a skunk on the butt at least once a year and this blessed concoction has saved us three times now from the HELL that is skunk funk. I really cannot thank science enough for this magical elixir. keep in mind because the horror that is skunk essence gets in the pores of the dog or victim in question there will still be a "wearing off" period no matter what, but an immediate hosing of all things concerned and the application of this product is so much better than any other home remedy I have ever tried it really makes the whole terrible ordeal manageable. It made a big difference when our Shepherd came in at 9 p.m. after playing with a skunk. The smell was greatly reduced even before her late night bath.
