Easy to Use
I am a homeowner and DIYer. I have very little experience with plastering walls. When I decided to repair water damage in my home I knew I'd need good tools to get the job done well. The positive reviews led me to buy this trowel. After applying the very first bit of plaster I knew I was holding the right tool for the job. I had used this to apply the basecoat and finish coat. I'm convinced this trowel helped me to build my confidence and hone my technique. The handle design does make a difference in comfort especially after an hour. After several cleanings this trowel shows no sign of rust. For me this is a big deal. All of my drywall knives have rusted a bit.

Very good
Compared to trowel i bought in hardware store this was big upgrade. Turned me from amateur to semi professional. Edges are bent slightly up so it eliminates diging in your coat and losing time to fix it. Took me couple of hours to practise but then everything went faster and smoother. Considering that previous trowel i paied 15e and since it has edges that are straight it was really difficult to work, i would really pay double for OX pro trowel. Comfortable - big handle and light weight, used it for hours and no fatigue. It looks and feels very sturdy and well made. I think it can be used professionaly for long time. It is not finishing trowel so it doesn't bend easy so it's more for full coating and smoothing buth i used it to tape joints with success. Basically i dont need another trowel to finish my renovating. Maybe a smaller one PS: please keep in mind that i am not proffesional plasterer or drywaller but I do have some experience, so I am writing this review based on 2 weeks use.
