SO useful
Not only is this an absolute must for preparing ingredients for some cuisine, but in my case, it ALSO can be used for grinding up pills (none of that trying to press two spoons together.) I have several cats on medications that, if ground, can be mixed with water and given through a dropper or syringe. Anyway, I loaned my old mortar and pestle to a friend, so I needed a new one, and this proved to be a very good choice - great capacity - with a pestle that covers a lot of surface and does a heroic job.AND, since I use it almost daily, I leave it on my granite counter where it looks great. I wrugged and handsome marble twosome.
