Read it, carry, it, study it. This book absolutely changed my life and entire outlook in this very brief trip through life. Things are really very simple - if you just think ‘properly’ things will tapped for you. Stop trying so hard, it holds your entire life back

This review is for ISBN 9781936594351, The Art of War, published by Tribeca Books.There is a reason this is the least expensive copy. It was typeset from a digital version of the book, probably from the Gutenberg Project. You can still see places where the editing was incomplete, such as two hyphens instead of a long dash, and inconsistent use of upper-/lower-case letters. The informational bits at the end of the book were copied directly from Wikipedia and still include the "[edit]" button.If you just want a cheap print copy of Art of War, perhaps as a handy reference, this is the one for you.

No disappointments here. This is, quite simply, one of the best books I've ever read. I ordered two of these books, one for each of my two youngest sons, as I think that is book should be required reading for most people. The book could just as easily be entitled "The Art of Peace" or "The Art of Life". It is a wonderful expression of how to deal with the trials of life and to embrace the true art of living in a difficult world. An absolute "must read".

This a is a very interesting read!I say this because much of the advice from Sun Tzu on "The Art of War" is also applicable to success and survival in every day life.Read between the lines and think about what is said to get the most from this book.

If strategy and tactics are interesting to you ... read this bookA brilliantly simplistic book for military tactics.Reading this and then looking at how the military operates makes it clear why we don't win.

I would recommend having this as it is a 1:1 translation and is great to have on hand or to give a friend if they wish to read Sun Tsu's work, personally I bought 2 other copies, an illustrated and an expanded version, which I recommend for anyone who enjoys the book, but this is a great foothold into a near essential piece of work.

Spelling mistakes, no punctuation, poor direct translation.Avoid and buy a better more refined version from Waterstones or check around.Size is small more like a pamphlet, which was fine for me as could store in my pocket or notepad etc.The format of the book is nice and easy to follow.It's about like reading a quotation highlights literature when your about to take an exam.

love chinese and asian folklore and tv shows and this book was mentioned so i thought i'd check it out , the translation is easy to read. it's cool to know about.

Had to read multiple times to fully grasp the wisdom

This is an excellent book, it is amazing that the wisdom of a war general from over a thousand years ago can be so applicable to the daily life of a person living in 2023.Highly recommend.
