Einar's Hair Gel, Apple, 4 Fluid Ounce

I like it because it is NOT stiff hair gel at all, but will hold my sons hair in place (which is what I was looking for). By the end of the day, it's pretty much gone and his hair is soft. There is no residue left so my son can go more than a day without having to wash it out (then we just put more on the next day). I also like that it's not sticky. As a bonus, it smells good!

This smells great and I loved that it was safe and healthy for my 16 month old baby boy. However, it is not going to hold hair up. It says strong hold here, be aware it is not strong at all. It is a soft hold, basically if you want to keep your baby's hair parted to the left a little, it would do that. My son has a faux hawk and I searched for safe gels and this is one of few that say they can give a strong hold. When you apply it, even on dry hair, which it said on the back it works best with, it doesn't hold well, because the hair immediately limps, so unless your baby has very very short hair, what's the point? You also need to use a lot of it which makes going through this product more expensive than its worth. Very disappointed that it did not help me style my baby's faux hawk. It is not good for that at all. It is okay for parting hair and spiking small sections of SHORT hair like maybe if you just wanted the front lifted. And it only will last about an hour, even if baby is not very active for that hour.My image is a shot of my son with the hair gel, this was the best I could get it at using this, and I used A LOT of it to make it look like this. And even then, I couldn't get it to hold enough so that all the hair was spiked so it ended up just looking frazzled. I tried it also on wet hair which seemed easier though the end result is the exact same.

Doesn't hold my boys' short hair up very long... :/

I've tried other hair gels geared towards kids and this is by far my favorite. It smells so yummy and it keeps my sons hair styled for most of the day! Now, on a hot day at school where he sweats, has 2 outside play times and nap, it may lose its longevity, but more often than not I can pick him up and his hair stays styled!!!

Smells great, doesn't hold very well! They have a wax balm that smells like grape that is amazing that's why I tried this product thinking it would be great as well because the other one was out!
