Absolutely amazing!Many years ago I had an ice scraper shatter on me as I scrapped my screen. I was quite badly injured and had to go to the A&E department to get some assistance in view of how deep the plastic went into my hand. For that reason I really wished to make sure I didn't repeat the learning curve again with cheap scrappers!As my ice scrapper reached the end of its life I wondered what I could replace it with; based on a number of parameters (not breaking, ability to clear the screen etc). In the end, whilst expensive I thought I'd give the IceDozer a go.When it first arrived I used it that morning and it cleared a 2 inch strip of ice, in one go on each pass; whilst I thought that was not brilliant, I could not dispute that I cleared the screen of hard ice faster than a normal scrapper.On the following day I applied more pressure and found it clearing the full width of the IceDozer. From that day on wards I've been able to clear the screen rapidly, and totally. It is really a great product and worth having in any car if you have to deal with ice on a regular basis. I would recommend this.

I bought this ice scraper based on the 1 or 2 good reviews I read on it, but I was not thrilled with the product, once it arrived. First of all, it is HUGE! When I saw the picture, I was thinking it was around 10" long. It isn't, it's about 18" long (to be fair, the product listing says so, but it didn't click until I saw it). The size is a minor problem if you store the scraper in the cabin of your car, not your trunk.But the second thing I noticed was that the actual blade itself was bowed in such a way that it didn't appear that the entire edge would make contact with the glass (which is rarely flat itself). The contact patch of this thing could be around 7", but in reality, it's only about 1-2". Being fairly flexible, I thought perhaps pushing on it would make it confirm to the glass, but when the first frost arrived (it took a while, it's been a warm winter!), my initial thoughts were proven correct. The problem is that you are exerting more force in the back and forth motion than directly down toward the glass. It takes an incredible amount of effort to get it to conform to the glass.The final straw was this morning, when we had our first hard frost since I got it. It didn't work at ALL against hard ice. The instructions say to "tenderize" the ice with the spikes on the front of the blade, but they don't stick out enough, and in effect, I was hammering at 7:30 in the morning - too loud for me.Which reminds me of the other thing I noted about it this morning - it made a terrible squeaking noise against the window.It's a great concept, and maybe if the blade had been straight, it would have worked better, but for me, this was a fail. I'm returning this. For what it's worth, it may work wonders with snow, but we don't get snow, we get ice. And an ice scraper that can't scrape ice isn't a great deal.

I bought this in the Fall of 2014. I used this several times during the Winter. My windshields were covered with thick ice. I used the ice crusher side to break up the ice, then easily brushed off the ice chips from the window. The IceDozer made quick work of removing the ice. The IceDozer has a couple of places to place your hands for a firm grip to bear-down and scrape or crush the ice.I was asked several times by people, who watched me make quick work of removing ice from my windshields, as to where to buy this product. I live in an apartment complex, where many people had to scrape the ice off their car windshield.I kept mine in the apartment to keep it from getting brittle from freezing, and possibly braking. The IceDozer is thick and durable, but I didn't want to take any chances. We had many days with below "0" temps. By keeping it warm, it remained flexible, and strong.This is a best buy over any other ice scraper. I highly recommend it.Thanks for your time my friends.

Part is of great design ... unfortunately, I only received half of the part (I ordered two, so I know what a good one looks like). Both were new, unused, and had the original manufacturer's hang tags attached. After a full hour on the phone with Amazon customer "Service" (I think it has to do with Bulls and Cows), they could not ship me the missing part and could only come up with a rinky-dink method of circumventing their own system to replace the full unit ... a method that involved me doing all the work of re-ordering, and re-mailing the defective part (first). Referral from an overseas agent to a US-based agent did nothing to improve the response. Very, very, poor Customer Service and not anywhere near the standards of prior years. Needs major improvement.

This is a pretty good ice scraper but not as good as the Icebuster that I used for many years but which is no longer available. Its handle isn't long enough for SUV's but it may be as good as what you will find on the market at the time of this writing.

I relocated to Minnesota for work and was NOT expecting this much snow and ice. I'm so thankful I found this ice scraper on Amazon. I carefully analyzed different options and decided this had the most functionality and would be the most durable in these ridiculous wintry conditions. Seriously, this product rocks! I recommend it to everyone I work with. It plows through snow, ice, and all sorts of other junk that ends up on my windows. I especially like the "teeth" that helps break apart thick ice chunks. BRING IT ON WINTER!

Bought this to keep the ice off my car when i lived in Alaska or 3 years. It works great, got the job done and made my life easier when getting ready in the morning on a cold night. Highly recommend if you need a great ice scraper.
