Canton Plus GXL.3 5" 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker Black Pair

I'd never heard of this brand before; but wanted to buy from Accessories4Less since I'd had to return some other purchases from them that didn't work out the way I wanted (products were fine, they just couldn't be used the way I wanted).I hooked them up this evening; and when paired with a Polk powered sub I have (100hz crossover), the overall sound is just fantastic. Nice, clear, crisp sound and a sturdy build.I'm looking forward to many years of great sound from these!

I bought these in the white finish to replace a pair of Andrew Jones designed Pioneer bookshelf speakers in my living area setup. The Pioneers were quite a bit larger and the black finish wasn't acceptable to SWMBO after the built-in shelving/cabinets were painted white. It's a very low-key setup with a Raspberry Pi and HiFiBerry Pro DAC running Volumio with the library stored on a 51GB MicroSD card that also holds the Volumio boot image. This setup is feeding an Emotiva Mini-X 100 amp and the 2 box setup fits handily on one of two rollout shelves in the center of the bottom row of cabinets.I was unprepared for the quality of the output of these speakers. The bass is much better and more clearly defined than the Pioneers, even with their larger cabinet volume a 4" cone is not going to move as much air as the 5" in the Cantons, and the mids and highs are distinct and not emphasized or brittle. While SWMBO is not perfectly happy with "yet another stereo" in the house, she did comment on how good it sounds when she came through while I was playing Donald Fagen's, "The Nightfly" SACD rip. You take what you can get.I also bought these from accessories4less. I have purchased from them multiple times and have never had a bad experience with their shipping or their product. I highly recommend both the seller and these Canton speakers.

Nachdem meine JBL-Control-Boxen nach gut 22 Jahren ihren Geist aufgegeben hatten (Sicken zerfallen in ihre Bestandteile) und die Nachfolgemodelle von JBL nicht mehr so qualitativ hochwertig sind, habe ich mich nach langen Recherchen für diese Boxen entschieden, obwohl sie nicht mehr zum aktuellen Programm von Canton gehören. Den noch funktionsfähigen Subwoofer von JBL habe ich beibehalten. Schon der erste Test vermittelte ein beindruckendes Hörelebnis. Die Boxen geben das komplette Klangspektrum sauber und klar wieder. Zusammen mit dem Subwoofer ergibt sich ein sattes und dynamisches Klangbild, also kein indifferenter Klangbrei. Sehr empfehlenswert. Die Boxen sind zudem sauber verarbeitet, lediglich die Aussparung mit den beiden Kabelklemmen ist m. E. zu klein geraten, so dass das Plus-Kabel etwas geknickt wird.

Die Boxen sind top. Habe die eh schon und mir die nochmal dazu gekauft für Dolbisurround sond.Bin leider sehr Enttäuscht dass, die Wand Halterung nicht (Mehr) vorhanden ist.War sie nämlich bei meinen Ersten Set, von genau der selben serie.
