Relatively easy DIY replacement.
When my original broke it's sprocket the garage door service companies wanted hundreds of dollars to come out and 'fix it'. I asked them if they could get the part and they told me they were No Longer Available and they'd have to replace the whole unit/track/everything. Well, here they are on Amazon!You can find How To videos on YouTube which make everything very clear. If you're terrified taking things apart and putting them back together again, then probably not for you. But it's not rocket science or vaccine science so you should be OK otherwise.For the cost of the product and a bit of my time, this was a GREAT purchase.

Component surprisingly not included with assembly.
A component that I expected to be part of this assembly was not included. I was able to find it and buy it seperately. No more problem.

Just Like Original
Just like the original....replaced my original because I didn't see the warning in the instructions not to run the opener with the linkage disconnected...it WILL break the pulley on this thing. You could replace just the plastic pulley but it is easier just to replace the assembly.
