Very close to a perfect EDC flashlight
I'll start with the cons.1. The magnet in the keychain cap can come unscrewed while hanging on your belt.2. The flashlight can get pretty hot on the two high modes, pretty quickly.3. The twisting function can be pretty janky. I also don't like that it has to be slightly unscrewed to be off. There isn't a lot of threading so if it gets unscrewed a tad more, it comes off (this is also where the USB port is). I would prefer a side switch or button, or some kind of twisting ring to cycle through the modes.Other than those, this thing is great. I love that it always starts in moonlight mode. The magnet in the tail is very strong. The highest mode produces a crazy amount of light for this flashlights size. The pocket clip is very secure. It's solid and well built overall. This is the first time I've bought an expensive flashlight and I don't regret it. I chose this light for the compact size, titanium option, magnets, ability to recharge without removing the battery and the built in charging indicator lights, and it was priced appropriately. There are few titanium flashlights with similar features and I couldn't find any with built in charging. My biggest issue is the twisty functionality. Sometimes when you just want to turn it on with a slight twist, it will make contact and start cycling through the modes if you don't twist it on far enough (loose connection). I would much prefer any other method of turning on and cycling through modes. If they fixed that and added an option for trit vials, I would pay $100+ for this light.

Very bright, easy to carry and recharge - 4.5 stars only because it requires 2 hands.
If this flashlight was one-handed button operated instead of needing two hands to rotate the barrel to turn on, it would be perfect. I keep their larger Relic XR light as my bedside tactical light, but now I use this as my daily pocket carry and dog walking flashlight.I typically keep it in my left front pocket next to my iPhone XS Max which is in a case so it doesn’t get scratched. It’s about half as thick as my previous AA battery flashlight and 3x as bright. Although it’s thicker than my phone it does not poke out or bulge my pocket.I almost never need 100% brightness with 4 levels, and the lowest level is great for not going night blind when trying to find something in the dark. Usually only need the first 2-3 brightness levels. I assume it would not be as bright with an alkaline AAA battery, but even the maximum setting would have to be quite brilliant based on my experience with other AA/rechargeable lithium compatible flashlights.I like that it’s rechargeable, but if I was to go on a trip and didn’t have a charging cable I could pop in regular AAA battery (most of my stuff uses a lightning cable). Even though it’s the twist top, it never accidentally turns on for me as the gaskets are fairly tight. However the gaskets are tight enough that I can’t turn it on with one hand.I have the matte titanium finish, and think it’s very attractive. I like the detachable magnetic key ring, but I do wish did it also had a non-detachable key ring mount for using it as a keychain baton in case somebody was to jump to you unexpectedly (Kubotan).

My favorite EDC
*Note: I have the Polished Titanium, but all that follows still applies. While looking for a new EDC light I came across this little gem. I love AAA lights as I typically carry AAA's in my camping pack along with a Goal Zero panel and charger. I use everything from GoalZero, AmazonBasics and Imideon AAA's. Three years ago I started with the Streamlight MicroStream 1xAAA, then upgraded to the Streamlight ProTac 1xAAA, then I got a Lumintop Tool Ti 1xAAA, now I have this little beauty. This light is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I am in love with the construction and the features. This is my first twist head EDC light, as I typically prefer clicky tails. However, after repeated accidental activation of my clicky tail EDC flashlights, I decided to give twist heads a try. This hit so many of my target wants for a new EDC flashlight. Here are some of the amazing features:- Titanium construction- Superb Craftsmanship- 300+ lumens (385 max)- Strobe and moonlight modes- Twist head activation- Magnetic tail cap- Rechargeable- AAA compatible- Charging indicator (red)- Fully charged indicator (green)The light comes beautifully packaged as well. It's all packaged in a sturdy box with a black woven texture to the exterior. Inside the light, tail caps and charging cable are in a velvet, magnetic closure case with elastic bands holding the light, other tail cap and charger in place. In the bottom of the box are the instructions/literature and a baggy with a key ring and spare o-rings.My overall opinion is that this is a beautifully crafted and well thought out light. Way to go, ZH! I will update this review over time if/when needed.
