Splatoon 3 - US Version

I’ve been playing Splatoon 3 for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite games on the Nintendo Switch! If you’re a fan of fast-paced, team-based shooters with a unique twist, this is a must-have. The game takes the series' signature ink-based combat to the next level with even more exciting features and improvements. First off, the graphics are gorgeous. The world of Splatoon is bright, vibrant, and packed with personality. The new maps and arenas are creative, and the character designs are adorable. The music also deserves a shoutout—each track is catchy and fits perfectly with the game's energetic vibe. Gameplay-wise, Splatoon 3 improves on its predecessors with new weapons, abilities, and customization options. The core concept of spraying ink and controlling territory remains, but now you have even more ways to strategize with your team. I love experimenting with different weapon loadouts and finding what works best for my playstyle. The addition of new special moves, like the Tacticooler and Inkjet, adds more depth and excitement to the gameplay. The single-player campaign is also a lot of fun. It has a charming story and introduces a variety of creative challenges that break up the multiplayer grind. There’s plenty to do in the game, and the progression system keeps me coming back for more. Whether you prefer the chaotic, team-focused battles of Turf War or the cooperative chaos of Salmon Run, there's something for every player. Another thing I love is the strong sense of community and customization. You can personalize your Inkling or Octoling with new outfits, gear, and emotes, and the social aspect of the game (joining Splatfests and participating in events) keeps it fresh and engaging. The added ability to connect with friends or join random teams makes multiplayer battles super accessible, and the matchmaking system works pretty well overall. If you’ve played Splatoon 2, Splatoon 3 feels like a natural evolution with enough new content to make it exciting and fresh. The competitive and cooperative modes provide tons of replayability, and the fun, fast-paced action is perfect for short gaming sessions or longer playtimes. Overall, Splatoon 3 is an absolute blast and a must-play for Nintendo Switch owners. It’s the perfect blend of strategy, teamwork, and chaotic fun. I've been having a blast with this game! Leveling up, buying new gear and weapons, splatting enemy players, inking the stages, and just having a good time. Once in a while, the matches will get interrupted via somebody getting disconnected, but for the most part it's pretty stable. Besides the times someone gets disconnected are pretty few and far between. Overall, I recommend this game for anyone who's looking for a fun time. Just be wary of the sudden disconnections in case your internet connectivity is spotty.

If you love gunner games, strategy, hide and seek … this is a great game! You can play individually or with friends …there are in game games … you can change your look, outfits, and upgrade weapons, clothes, etc … play more earn more chunks… not gonna lie… I play this with my kids and my kids love, love this game! For us, worth it :)

Single player is pretty fun, with some levels taking a second or third try, but overall fun enough for adults and kids alike. I’d probably not give this to someone under 8. The multiplayer is actually challenging, prepared to lose your first few games. My only complaint is the lobby/menu is confusing but you do eventually figure it out. This game is a lot more fun with the pro controller if you’re used to that type of control.

I am not an expert gamer- I’m 39 years old and treated myself to a Nintendo Switch this year. A teenager recommended this game to me and I stayed up until midnight every night this week playing it. It is addicting and really fun once you get the hang of it. It’s paintball on steroids. The learning curve was steep, as someone who grew up on SNES and N64. However, I think some of that was due to just getting used to the switch controls. I like playing on a tv with the OLED in the dock rather than the heldheld mode. Once you get used to the motion controls, and get a feel for all the customization options for gear and weapons (talk about info OVERLOAD), it’s a super fun game. I also like how the game is hosted on Nintendo servers, which makes it easy to connect to the internet and play- you don’t get the P2P/NAT issues that are so common with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. There’s a battle mode as well as a campaign, which is great to practice and learn the controls. It’s a combo of strategy and team work, which admittedly is a little complicated because you can’t talk to people in battle unless you join as a friend group. Definitely recommend.

The game arrived in good condition, the box arrived In good condition, although it had a sticker with the game's price that remained sticky when removed. Note: the game box is included, not just the cartridge.

My grandson who just turned 9 and wanted this game. He was so excited when he opened it. Was a little disappointed how hard it was to get started but his older sister figured it out and now his favorite gift.

Splatoon 3 game is really fun. For those who find combat games a bit too intense, this is a similar flavor but relaxed and totally engrossing fun game. Go for it

You can gift one to your zoomer buddy, just don’t be feel off when you noticed that they end up with a funny back posture due to this game or any game that they’ve been fixated on playing.
