Loved this mount at the beginning
Loved this mount at the beginning, but have had problems with them after a few months. I love the concept and the one-handed operation, but of my two, they are both now broken. GizmoFiend replaced the first one for me (they were very helpful). However, my other one melted on the windshield and left residue all over it (which did not come off easily and resulted in a few scratches being made in the window trying to get it off). I'm sure that they would replace it again for me, but I think I'm done with this mount. I'm also done with all the mounts having that sticky stuff on the suction cup. I realize that it allows it to stick better, but the trade off is not worth it. If they made a mount with a regular suction cup I may try it again.

Best Mount I have had yet! I have tried 5 others!
This thing is really awesome. It holds perfect, I use it in a Pontiac GTO and it survives the wicked second gear pull pretty well. Other mounts would fly off and land in the backseat. I have a Samsung Note III with an otterbox and most phone holders won't work due to the size of the phone with the case. I use it for hands free calls, text dictation, and GPS. The base and mount can be separated and placed on backwards, which allows an even more versatile range of movement. I would recommend it to anyone, and I would strongly encourage it as a good gift for anyone. It is extremely easy to use and quick to set up.

Great holder for big phones.

First off, the sticky gel pad on the bottom, in conjunction with the suction cup, holds this mount in place anywhere I want in my pickup. Also, it's very easy to get the phone in and out of this mount, once you've figured out how it works. I'm able to get my Note 4, with a case, in and out one-handed. Overall, it's a great product, until it breaks.After about 3 months of use, it broke right at the shaft coming off the pivot ball. I was adjusting the angle, and the thing just snapped.On Amazon's website it reads, "NO HASSLE LIFETIME GUARANTEE!!! - We proudly stand behind our product and are able to offer a FREE LIFETIME WARRANTY with 24/7 customer support! So make the logical choice and BUY with CONFIDENCE. "I contacted Amazon, and they said that their portion of the warranty time had expired, and that I'd need to contact the seller, GizmoFiend. Amazon had no phone number for GizmoFiend, only an email address, [email protected] took about a week before I received a reply, but they did get back with me. They had been experiencing some technical issues and they apologized for the delay. They sent me a replacement, and I'm happy again. This really is a great holder for a big phone.

Loving it!!!!
It was suggested by a friend that I get a car holder, to be better able to use the features of my phone. On that advice I looked for a car mount for a while and I'm really happy I purchased this one! I've only had it for a couple weeks, but it has made a lasting first impression. I originally wanted to stick the mount on my dash, but with my phone in it my vision was blocked. I put it on my windshield, and it worked GREAT! It really does stick to the windshield.It is so easy to put my Samsung Galaxy 3 with its case in it, something that apparently a lot of others do not do. It does this with no problem. It's easy to adjust and locks firmly in place. Make sure the part that holds your phone is locked into place with the mount. You'll have to tighten the ball. I put my phone in and remove it easily with one hand, an action that has become as second nature as inserting the key. I am also able to charge my phone as the holder does not get in the way and all the other controls on the side are easily accessible.My nephew drove with me this weekend and as teenagers do, he put his IPhone 5s in and did a video while driving. I thought that this was a pretty "neat" feature, if that term is still used. Of course it is probably going to cost me another as he mentioned that his mom's got in the way of his camera and it shook a lot making his video bad.Overall, I love it! It will be a practical and SAFE way to use the GPS on my phone. I have also noticed that the speaker for calls and music is a lot clearer. I will and am buying another.

Suction grip is strong and works great even on dashboard surface that is a bit curved. I can adjust phone to whatever I need. Wish the phone mount were a bit longer though so can be closer to the driver. There are no directions provided on how to install to dash or install the phone. Supposed to be a no-brainer I guess. There are some very tiny pictures on the box that are intended to show how to use but difficult to see and I couldn't finger out how to install phone at first until I figured out it works like a clip which opens to grip the phone. Duh. I love it and may get another for the wife.

One hand cell mount wonder
Actually works getting in with one hand, I've been through a bunch of cell phone holders but this one is the best ever. I put in on my dash and sticky rubber base works great with the vacuum lock. The only slight problem is that mounting arm a bit short so positioning the arm a way that doesn't butt up against the base is a little difficult. Those with big screen (5" or more, i have 4.3") might find this difficult.

very satisfied!!
I was nervous about this mount, but I put it in my car, followed the instructions, and it works perfectly well!! Of course when I hit a large bump it drops a little, but I just use one finger to push it back up and it's fine. My husband is wanting one now... I'm thinking it'd be a great bday present for him :)

amazon should stop selling this device and refund me the payment, I purchased this device for two cars placed it on my windshield the stick on glue melted do to the sun, it was hard removing the glue without the help of GOO remover , and glass cleaner, IF i was amazon i would run a test on the product before selling any more on your sight, so far my new one that plugs into my cd player is the best.
