I have had the pleasure of learning how to solve LS-DYNA problems using LS-PrePost through a well-skilled professor and highly experienced user. This book taught me how to employ the core features when solving a variety of LS-DYNA problems. It even entails the analysis of implicit problems, such as the modal analysis of a part. I now have more versatility whether I am designing or analyzing a component, validating experimental results, or testing theory through LS-DYNA, explicit or implicit. This book has given me more insight when using LS-PrePost to correctly set-up an input file to run through the LS-DYNA solver. I feel that I can solve any explicit or implicit problem using LS-DYNA by referring to the author's book. Whether you are a new-comer, or advanced professional, this book should be highly considered. A great tool for your tool-box.

Any of the reviews giving positive rating are fake nonsense, which is common for any product on Amazon with few reviews. There is zero explanation for anything done in these tutorials, or what any of the options in LS-DYNA do. It's a step-by-step tutorial that is not even very well done, not to mention that it is horribly out of date from the current (or even past few) version of LS-PrePost. I could not imagine a worse tutorial to try and learn from.In short, this would be a waste of $ even if it was only $10. You are better served with the current tutorials found on LSTC's website. Do not waste your time or money on this nonsense.

This little 120 page book is not worth $84. What's more, the type size for some of the examples is so small so as to be illegible, even using a jeweler's loupe... the information just isn't there. It's like a bad photocopy and/or a grayscale copy and reduction of a color original. Hence, it's unclear what number to enter into those data fields. After fighting with this on the second problem and trying to guess what numbers to enter, I returned the book.
