LED Desk Lamp by Amebay, Adjustable 5 Brightness Level Eye-Caring Study Table Lamp with Date Time/Alarm Clock/Temp Function, Soft Touch Dimmer Control,3-Color Mode, Reading Lamps, Night Light (White)

I bought this lamp to use for reading next to my chair in the living room. The Ott flip lamp was awkward to operate when I rearranged the seating because of its size. This lamp is great. It's footprint is great and raising and lowering the arm to adjust the light fall is easy. I use daylight or white light for reading and the yellow or incandescent light the rest of the time. I use the brightness adjustment depending on the time of day. (Note: since I use it a lot I wrote the date I put this into use so I can monitor how long the lamp lasts. There doesn't appear to be a way to replace the LED portion of the lamp.) Setting up the lamp and the time-temp-date were very straight forward by following the instructions accompanying the lamp. Another thing I like about the lamp is its weight. Fold down the arm and place it on the floor next to my chair and the "regular" decorative lamp is the focal point.There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the brightness of the time-temp-date display. So when you put the arm down the blue light glows out around the arm.If this lamp continues to perform well I will consider replacing my other Ott lamps with this one.

I've had this lamp for about two weeks now and it is an excellent LED lamp. It has two color modes ("vivid pure white" and "yellowish white"), along with 4 brightness levels. The only thing I would change is the soft touch buttons which have absolutely ZERO tactile feedback. What this basically means is that unless you are looking at the control buttons you have no way to know exactly where they are while attempting to turn the lamp on in the dark. Even though you know pretty much where they are...there is no way to pinpoint the buttons. You just have to tap around until you hit the power button. With that being said, this for me isn't a valid reason to NOT purchase this unit. This is still a great lamp and I am very pleased with it overall. It has a blue back-lit display which displays the temperature, time, month and date. As far as I know there is no way to dim or turn off the display which is always on if the lamp is plugged in. The lamp uses a CR2032 Lithium disc battery to retain the time and date. Removing this battery does NOT, however, power down the display if you can't sleep because of the light. It only removes the digital numbers leaving the display blank, but STILL ON. Thus, the four star rating. In conclusion, this lamp needs only minor revisions to be a five star lamp. Add a raised power button (even if it's just a slight bubble style raised dome), and an ON/OFF switch for the display. And an ON/OFF timer for the display would be fantastic as well.

Useful with three modes (white, yellow, mixed) and 5 brightness settings for each mode. Looks stylish but light does bleed from back and sides a bit (buttons on back and holes on side). Display is nice but too bright at night so I sometimes unplug it. Clock maintains time with a little coin battery. My biggest complaint about the item is the power cable. A standard micro-usb cable would be so much more convenient. Instead it uses a non-standard (circle shaped) connector. Overall though, I'd buy it again.

All in all a good sturdy product, my only complaint is that the display does not have a dimmer and is quite bright. So, if this lamp is going in a bedroom, take this into consideration, as it will be a night light.

This product does not keep accurate temperature. It is about 4 degrees off. I am very disappointed. This was a replacement for one I bought at Cotsco a few years ago that was excellent, taller, and easier to read.This one is smaller, hard to read and not accurate. The reason I needed a replacement was a power outage must have zapped it, and the digital display no longer worked.I am very disappointed with this one.

I purchased this lamp because of the clock feature. I know others complain of the light at night but it does not bother me as I like it as a night light. It is not too bright for me. And I often need to see the time in the middle of the night because I can be "on call" for my job. I purchased this model to replace a similar but larger model that died after 6 years. I'm happy. I like the smaller footprint of this lamp.

I am not the best person for a review as my right hand and arm are paralyzed and my left hand still doesn't obey orders like it should. However the light works great but I am unable to adjust things to get the readout working because I am paralyzed. I am happy with it so far and just because I can not adjust things personally is not the lights fault.

Beautiful lamp, but requires a battery to operate the clock & other functions -- with a very flimsy battery holding system. When I pushed and turned the battery cap, the tiny plastic ears on the cap sheared off. They must know there are issues, because they email you instructions on how to put the battery cap on, as well as include a separate direction sheet in the box. If you want to take a chance that you can get that battery seated properly, this is a really elegant lamp/clock at a great price.
