Perfect replacement for my Airstream International
This bathroom vent was a perfect fit for my 2002 Airstream International. Removing the old one was a very intuitive process, and this was an easy installation. The hardest part about the whole project was figuring out how to get up on top of the Airstream, with its curved roof. But, I found a hand grab on the roof above the door entrance. The wiring was simple and re-sealing on the roof was pretty easy. Shipping and packing were well done, and the vent fan works very well.

So Far So Good limited use/tests
This fan installation was a good little project. It definitely requires a 2nd person for mounting. TEST IT BEFORE YOU MOUNT IT! I spent some time adding in a harness that mounts between the outer portion and the inner (which has the on and off switch). I recommend gluing two circular cutouts together that are square on their outer edges (if building out a van from the bottom up). This should make the ceiling boards easier to mount to instead of a wood harness piece that is circular on the outer edges. Make sure if you are using those two boards for a bigger thickness (say 5/8 for both) that they match up well, this will be handy for the ceiling installation later I believe.I drilled a good size hole on the inside of the circle and then skill sawed the marked circle carefully. Use whatever piece you want to use as a stencil for that circle first (I used the small bottom piece which was easy for me). You can have a paper or plastic bag taped underneath to capture the metal shavings too ( I went backwards in steps actually but you get me). After I cut it out completely I sanded with a drill sander (whichever grit really) and then primed and painted it. If you're concerned about rust you can start with a Rust Converter spray before printing and then finally top coat painting it ( inside and out to catch all of the edges). Stainless steel screws must be purchased to drill through the metal and grab to the harness you have setup ( I definitely recommend predrilling these holes first cuz the self tapping is not so simple for metal surfaces with wood screws!) Oops, you'll want to have dicor tape around the bottom of the unit before placing it down to be mounted. You can lap seal all the edges including the screws (even the two cover screws on top). They also make a dicor type of tape that you can finish the lap sealant with once it dries to really make sure that hole is leak proof, but this step is also a bit overkill. Good luck with it. And also- that wood harnessing idea is a bit specific to thin ceilings like in the case of these cargo Vans.Only 4 stars for it's lack of instructions and limited capabilities (on and off exhaust only). I have heard that switching the wires can make it an intake fan, but I would god for the Sirocco Elite 2 for a fan of you are using this basic overhead fan setup (this product I'm reviewing). That fan is killer and has 4 settings with the lowest being 2 watts I believe, the 2nd setting is 4, 3rd setting is 6 and the max setting jumps to 10 watts. This fan can move out if the way and rotate 360 degrees basically. The mounting is a little limiting but a snap to install (from the looks of it). You can find YouTube vids on the Sirocco 2 elite and this Ventfan Vanair as well. Good luck with it all and stay cool!Oh- I also recommend going the route of a blue sea systems fuse box to protect your appliances and also to make you layout more simple/ electric more organized. I'll be using a Jackery 300 for my van purposes, but those are pretty much a requirement when using lithiums or AGMs, when your doing the electric from the ground up (but you probably already knew that). It's not necessary for Jackerys to have a fuse box connected in front of it, but like I said, it organizes and makes it easier to upgrade (when you go for lithiums or AGMs).Update- drawing way too much power 17 watts while in use. Not an energy effecient device. Will be looking to remedy this as it can barely last the night on a Jackery 300.

Great replacement fan for the Travato
Fits great. One note: The original fan from my 2020 Travato mounted with (6) screws and this fan has (8) screw holes (that obviously do not line up to existing holes in roof). Had to drill (2) new holes in the roof and assemble with 4 screws. Not a problem for me but should be noted.

Perfect little vent fan for my small truck camper
This is the perfect fan for my 96 Tacoma camper shell. I used a thick round bamboo cutting board for the base by cutting out a six inch circle and mounting it to the interior ceiling. The fan is well constructed and sturdy, Made in the USA. I also connected the fan to a switch which has a speed controller and timer. If you use this fan for a small camper I highly recommend a speed controller otherwise the fan will run at high speed which is not only overkill, but a bit noisy. With the controller you can run it more quietly and efficiently on 0.1 A instead of the max 1.5 A speed. This unit is a bit pricey, but worth it, and less than most competitors.

Great replacement
We own a 2013 AIRSTREAM and this was an exact replacement- and easy to put in - all the holes lined up perfectly- now I have to buy another one - I needed 2 but I wanted to make sure there wouldn’t be a problem with the fit 👍
