I liked Diva Cup very much
I am a second-time menstrual cup user, my first being the Diva Cup. I liked Diva Cup very much, but decided to try a different option for my next purchase. The first thing I noticed about Luna Cup, is that the cup part is a bit thinner than Diva Cup, and this is where I ran into my learning curve. Diva would pop open with very little coaxing after insertion, but Luna takes a little bit more working to get it situated just so. I used the "bear down and twist" approach, where you sort of bear down a bit, and give the cup a 360 degree rotation until you feel it open up.Honestly, if you run into any issues with the cup, the company sends you amazing, informative emails with your purchase to answer *any* questions you could have. I'm confident any woman could use these. The bag Luna Cup comes with is very pretty and discreet, and *much* sturdier than the flimsy bag my Diva Cup came in, which unfortunately ripped shortly after opening. Also, to help other ladies, some information about me: I am a mother of two, I had two c-sections, but still opted for the "large" cup. 32 years old, 5' tall.

Love it!
I'm so happy I have bought the Luna cup! I have gotten the small and large package which I highly reccommend if you have had children. I started off with the small cup which worked great. No blood seeping out, nada. After a couple of days I did notice some spotting, maybe due to heavier bleeding or maybe even it sitting in there a couple of days maybe needing a larger size? And towards the end of my period went back to the small with no issues. The bags they come with are super cute and durable. My experience has been very pleasant and freeing if you will lol. It's a great feeling not needing to throw in a handful of tampons in a purse before you leave the house or even having to have to drag your purse out with you if you don't want to simply because you need them. And not having to worry about the unwrapping and disposal blah blah bs. Just grab the tail and pull it out. If you have a hard time getting to it just do a kegel and and it'll push it down for you. Only warning is be mindful of when you pull it out because blood will get underneath the toilet seat and it's a little awkward if you are visiting a male family member like your dad and he goes to the bathroom after work and obviously sleeved out about the blood you have gotten underneath his toilet seat that you didn't even know about š Whoops...Also in the picture of the cups the small is on the left and the large on the right. Not too much of a size difference but I guess just enough

Wet tampon strings can suuuuuck it
This has changed my life and the company rocks. Iām 32 and have never had kids, so i bought the small one despite the sizing guide or whatever. I have vulvadynia and was worried something too big would irritate me. Well, the small was too small and i could barely get it out and had a hard time getting it to āpopā and suction when i put it in. It was a little panic inducing. (I texted my friend who is an OBGYN like 45 times and she told me to just let it overflow to break the seal, which i did, and got it out by digging around and pushing like i was having a baby, which was terrible). The company has a money back guarantee so i emailed asking for the larger size and they sent me one immediately, free of charge, and also wrote some tips in their email. I just used the new, larger one for the first time this period and Iāve gotten it in and out with no problem. Thereās no leaking! If you have vulvadynia, a tampon thatās too dry can start to hurt and thatās not a problem with this cup. There is some pain getting it in and out but i only do it once a day, in my home, bc you can leave it in for 12 hours (and Iāve left it in longer). You donāt get the discomfort from wet tampon strings. And, letās be real, when you have period diarrhea you donāt have to worry about your tampon string or changing a tampon every time.Iām not kidding when i say it changed my life. It took some getting used to(i also have super tiny hands) and i had to watch some YouTube videos, but the price of one cup is the price of like a jumbo box of tampons. I love it, i tell everyone about it and i wouldnāt go back to tampons. Do yourself a favor and buy one from this company.

What took me so long to get this!!!
Let me start of by saying this Luna cup is a total game changer! What took me so long to try this?! After going to more natural products, I decided to see what was in tampons and I was horrified! (Polysorbate 20). I sat and read reviews on several cups and went with the Luna cup because it had both sizes (not knowing which size to get) and carrying case. Iām 36 years old with no children and it recommend the large, but the small is good for me. DONāT LET OTHER REVIEWS SCARE YOU! It will take a little practice, but totally worth it! Iāve used it two full cycles and have had no issues. You learn to figure out what works for you when using it and know itās sitting in properly. When taking it out, donāt be scared because some reviews said they got it stuck in there(how?!)just relax and do a keagle to help lower it and pinch the base, you will here/feel the suction come off. I tried mine for the first time when I wasnāt working just to be on the safe side. 12 hours is amazing and only having to change this twice a day is awesome!

Would recommend
Let me start out by saying the first few times you use this, it will be difficult to insert and remove, and it IS MESSY. You can't feel it once it's inserted, and if you use the large cup it is more difficult to insert and remove. I don't think using toilet paper or tissues is very sanitary for cleaning when you're in a public restroom, so I'd recommend keeping disposable feminine wipes or a pack of flushable wipes in your purse/bag. They're cheap and do a good job of cleaning the cup on the go. Definitely a good alternative to tampons as you don't have to worry about using the wrong absorbancy as your flow changes throughout your cycle, and you don't have to empty it as often as you'd have to change a tampon. I do use a very thin panty liner when my flow is heavier, and I recommend using either that or a pad when you're first getting the hang of insertion.
