This is the problem with the new Mac, if you want great adapters, you'll have to buy them separately. As far as I can tell, only one device works at a time. If I try to plug in the power through the USB-C input, or 2 USB's at one time, one of the devices is kicked-off. I had to reformat 1 hard drive and one memory card because it did not unmount before this adapter ejected it. The memory card is amazingly slow / took 1 hours to transfer 64gb of photos from an ultrafast memory card (scandisk pro 95 MB/s write speed). I don't know if the problem is in Mac software or the adapter, but HDMI connections are wonkey and I could not figure out how to run multiple displays. I have to blame Mac for this more than AVOTCH, at least they tried to fill the need of multiple inputs that are missing on the new MacBook.

Used it with a MacBook Pro 15" 2017, All the ports worked fine but wasn't getting the best resolution when using a Dell 27" Monitor on the HDMI port, it was also pretty warn to touch when using the charger too.

Happy to report that this works great on my 15 inch laptop, a 2017 Lenovo Yoga 720. It was tricky to find a hub that does, because this model is a bit different from some other Lenovo models (including the Yoga 720 with the 13 inch screen). Just because something does work on a Yoga 910 does not mean that it works on my machine, and even Lenovo couldn't give a confident answer about what should and shouldn't work. I purchased another highly rated and nicely designed hub that worked with some things but not others (scanner- yes, dvd and webcam - no, wireless mouse - sort of), which fortunately the seller accepted as a return. If you're looking for a USB-C hub for a Yoga 720 15", I'd give this one a try.

Plugged it in and some outputs don't work. Namely the network which is my primary reason for purchasing it. Windows 10 / Lenvovo Yoga 720-15IKB. Write seller, waiting feedback. (No, uninstalling the device and restarting the laptop don't work, and updating the driver doesn't download anything new). The video and USB ports work - haven't tested for speed nor have I tried out the other ports.Will update the review after done investigating. Will return the unit and downgrade the review if I don't hear from the company.

HDMI port does not work with Dell SE2717HR 27" Full HD Monitor. I got it for the network port which does not deliver a good speed. I have a smaller HUB with my ASUS ZenBook 3 UX390UA Laptop that does not have network port. The HDMI does not recognize my Dell SE2717HR 27" monitor.

The Avotch USB-C adaptor is pretty great. I use it with my MacBook Pro and Chromebook Pixel. I love that it has both HDMI and VGA.It's a little bigger than I would like to carry around, but it's worth it overall.I work at a college and I have had some issues with the HDMI connection, but mostly it's been great.

States it works with Lenovo Yoga 900 but it does not. This product does not work with windows 10.

After only a few months the HDMI port doesn't work anymore. I use the Ethernet, HDMI, and USB port only but now it is only a hot Ethernet port. Additionally, the adapter gets extremely hot after only about 15 minutes. I had a plastic covered mouse pad that warped/distorted the top after sitting on it for the day.
