I like the hat is this for cancer patients only? I want to buy the hat cause it's cute?

Great question! This is a "regular" women's fashion hat, but it's also perfect for chemo patients because it's super soft inside and offers full coverage over the ears and neckline. I had cancer in 1988 and for 25 years, worked for cancer patients in my hairdressing practice so I make sure every hat I sell works for chemo patients.

Is there lining inside?

It's two layers of fleece, the inside layer serves as a liner with no exposed seams so it's soft on your head. So you could say it's fleece with a fleece liner.

Hello, sorry, I just now saw this question. I am the seller of this hat. The price is $19.99. I don't see a $8.70 price on there now. Possibly a fraudulent seller was on there for a day or two. Please be cautious of any product that has that much of a discrepancy in price. Amazon does their best to prevent this, but sometimes those slip through.

Is the red a crimson dark-red or a mandarin orange-red?

It's kind of in between. It is not Mandarin orange, but not a deep, purple red either. Every shipment is a little different dye lot, so I have to tweak the photo. On my monitor, the image in Amazon is it's very accurate. I hope this helps.
