2 YEARS I'VE HAD MY SNAP AND NOW IT TALKS
I am a real person I have no affiliation with Sengled it's companies or affiliates. I do believe that many reviews (depending on the site) have been either paid for or are family/business affiliates. With that said of all my electronic purchases in the home security arena with out question the SNAP is actually my #1 overall best ever purchase. I have it situated in a recessed pot which is about 22 feet above my kitchen./great room.. It is as reliable as the IRS. The single and only issue is that when the internet trips I have to put a painters ladder on top of my kitchen counter to reach the reset button (thankfully this doesn't happen often) I am so pleased with the quality of construction to the robust functions of the app. Sengled has a lifelong fan here.

First, the product itself is innovative. It's a great combinations of security camera and floodlight that’s just twisted onto your existing regular E26 base lighting fixture without the need for AC adapter or batteries like other wireless surveillance cameras. It was the main reason I tried Snap in the first place.Setting up was easy with on screen instructions from the app. Best to setup the device inside where you have the best Wi-Fi connection before settling to its designation. It's a Wi-Fi camera so strong wireless network connection signal is a must. I experienced 8 to 10 seconds of lagging and had to lower the picture quality until relocating my wireless router closer the camera and all of those problems are resolved.It comes with a free 24hr cloud storage plan, which is all I need. To me, it’s a plus to have my Snap’s videos stored on the cloud so if a thief steal my Snap, I will still have the perpetrator’s footage on file where at if the footages were stored locally on the camera itself, all would be gone. If 24hr storage is not enough for you, they do offer cloud storage plans starting from 2 days, 7 days, to 30 days.Secondly, I have had great experience with customer service. One of my Snaps had an issue with night vision after almost a year of using. I contacted Sengled and got a new replacement without any cost but a few exchanging of emails. Sent them the problematic Snap and received a replacement within 3 days.While I love the product and would recommend it to others, there are a couple improvements needed, in my opinion. First, the floodlight needs to have sensor ability where it would auto turn on when detects body/heat motion. Second, about the app. I’d love to be able to search for footage’s histories at my own chosen date/time and not having to scroll to where I want that it takes time to load. Additionally, it would be nice to have an option for rearranging the orders of your Snaps at the main screen.
