Octo Lights Starry Fluorescent Light Covers for Ceiling Lights 2x4, 4 Pack

This film is very sturdy and the colors are great(I got the purple nebula looking one). I got a lot of compliments from coworkers on its look. Easy to install is a bonus; just slap it into the light diffuser(cover) and you're good to go! Highly recommend if you want to drown out the harsh light and have a chill environment.

I had ordered the 'M83 Galaxy' for the fluorescent light directly over my desk. I tend to get extreme headaches and eye twitching after sitting under the light after about an hour. After seeing how well it worked, my coworkers pitched in and asked me to order another one. We ordered the crab nebula for an even brighter light in the center of our cubicle. Both covers are beautiful, dim the light to a perfect level and are high quality. The covers were shipped quickly, arrived on time, and are packaged very well. Highly, highly recommend for anyone sensitive to fluorescent lighting.

I really love my light diffuser! I only bought one to see how I liked it but will definitely be buying another for the other fluorescent light in my office. I’m a psychotherapist and prefer a more homey feel in my office. My clients and colleagues love it. I chose “outer space” because of the lighter colors. Gives a nice muted light above my workspace, but still plenty of light for my older eyes to read. So much prettier in person!

These light covers were the best value we found when searching. They’re very pretty & the clouds & stars look very realistic. The material is sturdy enough that it doesn’t rip or tear while handling the product. We purchased these for our chiropractic office; however, they ultimately made the lighting too dim for our overall environment. We did keep them in place in our resting room & playroom, where they are perfect. I could see where they’d be perfect in classrooms with a lot of natural light to balance as they do reduce how much light gets through from the fluorescents.

So yes these are pricey, especially when you have 16 fluorescents, but i love them. Will purchase more!! Easy to install, no cutting or prepping, shipped with in a few days!! My family was impressed and i am certain my students will be too!

I had to trim it slightly to fit in my office lights but it was super easy to trim in and they laid flat from the minute they were unrolled. They’re lovely and provide just the right amount of light to keep my therapy office comfortable.

I ordered the wrong screen. IT was super easy to install and darkened my office but now I am almost in the dark since I don't have any windows. I am going to share this one with a coworker who gets lots of sunlight. I have already ordered a lighter replacement screen for my office. I highly recommend but be careful with the dark colors, LOL

This diffuser panel is a lifesaver at work. I suffer from frequent headaches, especially from harsh florescent lighting. I recently changed jobs and moved into an area that has not been updated to the new lighting system. In addition, my unmovable workstation points right at one of the industrial 2x4 lights. After three weeks of harsh lighting, daily headaches and brain fog, I installed the diffuser and it was instant relief. Coworkers have pointed out how effective it at blocking the harsh light, but still filtering gentle light for what I need. I went with the galaxy background for maximum light blocking, but I can see how the lighter design panels would be effective if you need more light.

It certainly darkens the room. I wanted to use them in my treatment room in my practice. The fluorescent were way to bright in the clients eyes. This helps is tremendously.

Material quality is great. Nicely printed, clear and detailed with high quality graphics. The main issue is that it blocks more than 90% of the light. Leaving the space it was intended for too dark. Additionally, I wish I considered what type of lenses were on my light fixture before I purchased. Most fluorescent lights have a prismatic e texture to the lenses which are designed to scatter light. However when you put one of these printed films behind the lense, this image becomes heavily distorted thus negating the detailed quality of the print. Would purchase if I was looking to block almost all light and if I didn't have the prismatic lenses on the light.

FYI It's ONE light cover, not light COVERS. It looks like a laminated piece of long paper. Very Very disappointing. Not worth 49.00.
