California Grown Marcona Almonds 2 lb Bag

Given the fact that Marcona almonds are always expensive, this two pound bag is a good buy compared to other sources. The product is fresh and delicious, and comes in an airtight resealable bag. I like the fact that they are US grown. Highly recommended product if you're looking for Marconas.

These almonds are delicious! My family’s favorite “healthy” snack! That said, I’ve had trouble purchasing them lately. They are out of stock. I also need to mention the huge amount of water it takes to grow almonds. In this era of drought and wild fires in California, the almond industry is struggling.

These were fresh, had great flavor, just the right amount of salt, and are a good price for quality marcona almonds.

I recently discovered Marcona almonds. They are so much tastier than regular, ordinary, garden-variety almonds; there is really no comparison. Marcona almonds are sweet and crunchy but not so hard that your teeth hurt from eating them.Once I got turned on to Marcona almonds, I shopped around for the best purchase options on Amazon, and found this brand. I have now ordered from them three times, and their Marconas are superb. Also, they ship and deliver super fast. Five Stars For Sure!

This is a really good almond as far as Marcona almonds go. I was impressed specifically because of the price difference in favor of the California Marcona almonds as opposed to the version from Spain, but I was not overly impressed. The issue I have is that there seems to be an interchangeability between Marcona almonds from Spain and Valencia almonds from Spain and I simply have not had that experience with the California Marcona. The Valencia almonds I‘ve eaten were actually from Spain and were extremely delicious. They were very flavorful and the texture was buttery and almost soft, but still crunchy. These Marcona almonds are from California and are supposedly the same as the ones originating from Spain. I can only assume that the reason that Marcona almonds from Spain are so easily interchangeable with Valencia almonds from Spain is because of the very similar or exact flavor profile they share. I cannot say the same for the interchangeability of the Cali version of the Marcona almonds. They simply lack that buttery texture and are slightly more firm than the Valencia almonds from Spain. Maybe it’s just the way these particular Cali Marcona almonds were prepared. Anyway, these almonds are still very good.

These will transform your almond experience

I will start off positive. No rancid or bitter nuts like I some times encounter with the almonds from Spain. The flavor and crunch is not as good though. Price is almost even. My big disappointment is I was expecting the oily nuts and these were dry. Being grown in California , if the price were lowered these would be a great substitute. I will purchase the imported variety in the future.HAD TO REVISE THIS REVIEW. AFTER CONSUMING THE ENTIRE AMOUNT PURCHASED I CONCLUDE THESE TO BE VERY GOOD. WILL PURCHASE AGAIN.

These are great! Love that they are freshly roasted and not sitting around for months before you get them. They are a lot softer than the other almonds we are all used to but they have a very crunchy texture still. They are easier to chew and I love that they don’t have skins. I don’t think I will ever go back to eating regular almonds ever again! Roasted in good oil and with sea salt... the best! The bag comes completely full which is good but they are still really expensive so I won’t be purchasing them too often.
