Not a typical skip toy as the bungee material it’s made of gets wound up and also burns after a few skips if it’s exposed to your skin. Turned into a great dog toy though so that’s why the 3 ⭐️s!

My 6 year old daughter loved the concept of this toy. However, the loop for her foot is too large to keep the toy on her foot so it is hard to get going on it. The ability to skip over the rope is difficult right now, too. So she has dismissed it in the midst of the rest of Christmas things. It may work better when she tries it with shoes and has more practice. Maybe she is just too young yet...? It's a great design otherwise. It is very sturdy, and the ball has a bell inside which is a fun addition.

I loved the Skip-it when I was a kid and would play with that thing forever. I bought this as a way to exercise as an adult, and it really is a great cardio workout! But sometimes during use the cord gets caught up and tangled on my shoe, interrupting what was a really good run. I definitely prefer the hard plastic skip-it, but this is a good alternative.

Exactly what I was looking for and so far has held up to the use of the 7 year old who was so excited to have it. The whole is a little large for her, but that was an easy modification. The ball is really a hard plastic type time material, which is the only thing I don't totally love, but if you are aware, you learn.

Rope gets twisted up and frustrates my daughter

I was looking for one of these to give as a Christmas present...I remember having one as a kid that I loved. But the one I had as a kid had a hard plastic ring that went around your leg. After getting this, I regret the purchase. I should have gotten one with the hard plastic ring. The loop on this toy doesn't slide or swirl around your leg, thus making it nearly impossible for a young kid to use. My husband was able to get it going with much effort and some very exaggerated movements.
