Nice product
I bought this receiver to use for a projector. I have it hooked up to an outdoor whole house antenna and the receiver pulled in all of my locals with great quality/strength. I used the dvr function with a flash drive I had sitting around the house, the dvr functioned as it should. Would definitely buy again/recommend. Thank you.

Volume control issues.
Picture quality is great, but it keeps getting stuck in the volume down mode. It's not the remote. Batteries were smashed on arrival. No damage to box or unit that I can see. I have to go use the volume controls on the unit itself when it sticks. Update 10-17-17, volume fluctuates so bad we can't even use it now. Looking for something else.

Works, but "so-so"
Not easy to set up. Instructons not complete enough and printed so small I had to use a magnifing glass to read it. Works, but there are issues not corrected and no instructions on particular issue that needs correction.

Everything worked just fine.
I ordered this so I could connect an antennae for over the air tv channels to my AV receiver. As soon as I plugged everything together the converter box's menu came up on the TV screen. A couple of seconds later, the message "LNB Short" began to flash on the screen. Didn't know what that was, so I thought I would get help from the web site mentioned in literature that came with the converter. The web site didn't even exist. I googled the issue and found a few answers that suggested it might be an issue with the coax cable connected to the antennae. Went and bought a new one. Same issue. Ran down to my local video store and bought an equivalent RCA unit. Everything worked just fine.

So far it's working great. Only problem one of the remote batteries was DOA, making a clicking sound. Where can I download the USB updates for this box? I can't get the Vilso website the come up.

Doesn't work.
1st one did not work. The seller sent me a 2nd and that also did not work. Keeps getting an error message and it doesn't may which om my two antenna I use. Both of my antenna work on my old plasma TV. DO NOT BUY>
