This is my third purchase for this led light string. I use it with Alexa over WiFi and the Kasa Skill.I like that I can turn it on and off and set the color via the App. I put a string under the bar top and behind the bottles on the shelves.I wish the commands were better documented but for the price, this product is slick and easy.The material is indoor, four connector with sticky tape back strip for mounting. I have cut the strip and soldered wire extenders between the shelves. Not that hard if you go to YouTube to learn, else buy the no solder strip connectors.I use Alexa and the KASA skill and find this very useful. We do have other KASA devices, so I like that they are dependable and consistent with my other devices. KASA has great value on smart switches and plugs that are WiFi based, so you are not tied to a Smart Hub that updates it's code and requires you to change all your Zigbee devices when the hub is replaced or dies.

Exactly what I was looking for. I use these to give light to the inside of an armoire wardrobe closet. They are linked to Aqara door sensors which are then connected to Alexa routines. When the doors are opened, the strip light turn on, and turn off when the doors close. Really easy to use and the internet connection has yet to fail.

Purchased and installed these for under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. The physical installation was easy, the tape strip adheres well to the underside of the cabinets. I completed the setup with the Kasa app before I installed them. I was unfamiliar with the Kasa app but it went smoothly. Also set it up to work with Alexa and that works awesome as your are able to turn the lights on, off, or change colors with Alexa. They also have all kinds of smart settings and scheduling as well as different light show effects.

My son had a string of LED stars but his sister pulled on them and ripped the cord. He’s been having a hard time falling asleep and saying he’s afraid of the dark. I found these and LOVE that I can set them on a schedule and turn them on/off from an app on my phone. No more worrying about them staying on all day. He is thrilled with all of the color choices (though I told him it had to be pink, red or purple to help with sleep) and I love that I can dim them. They were super easy to install and I had no issues. Easy to line up with the ceiling and the remote control is secured to the wall nicely.

I love these smart lights. I put them under my kitchen cabinets and they look great. I love how you can change the colors and set these on a schedule if you want. The only one thing I would say I didn’t like is how wasteful it is once you cut them ti the length you need. Like I only needed about half the size and ended up throwing the rest out since it’s useless afterwards. It would be nice if they gave you another connector end
