Brod & Taylor Dough Whisk - Heavy Duty Dishwasher-Safe Mixing Tool

I have put off buying a whisk for a long time. The common complaint is the whisk breaks off at the handle. I can see why when the whisk ends shortly after entering the handle. Brod and Taylor whisk continues all the way down the handle. They show the diagram and decided this is the one I needed. I had to give this one a try. On the first mix, you can feel the solid build in this whisk. The handle is not slip, the whisk releases the dough quickly and cleanup was easy because after a quick rinse you can toss it in the dishwasher. You may be hesitant on buying this because it's a bit that all the other bread whisks, but the few extra dollars are well worth the cost in having a quality build dough whisk.

This dough whisk is amazing! It was just what I wanted and needed. I’ve been making sourdough for about eight months now and I’ve gone through two other dough whisks—the one with the wooden handle that comes in the kits. Both of them broke and look all gross inside the handle. Highly recommend this one because it’s very sturdy, hygienic and easy to clean. It’s also got like a silicone type of handle where you can “hit” it against the bowl-to remove the excess dough on the whisk-and it won’t break your glass bowl. It also mixes the door really well. So if you’re looking for a good dough, whisk try this one.

I rate kitchen items using this question: Would I replace this immediately if it broke today? This makes the short list of things I wouldn't hesitate to order in the event they broke. However, I doubt this dough whisk would break. It is a workhorse. It makes quick work of batters and mixes even thick batters with ease. It scrapes the whole bowl, so no finding pockets of flour at the bottom. It works great for sourdough, fresh milled flour, and anything else I have tried. What sets it apart from other dough whisks is that it is not wood. I love solid wood cooking utensils, but i don't like when wooden handles are used with metal, because where they meet is very difficult to clean. This one is super easy to clean in the dishwasher. Big fan. I have given it as a gift.

This is a very well constructed dough whisk. I use it for a very stiff sourdough batter, and it handles the job beautifully well. The longer handle is very helpful to me, (broke both wrists so my strength isn't the best.), allowing me to use both hands when I need to. I wash it up in the dish water (mostly because I don't like the way silicone feels after going through the dishwasher), and it's so quick and easy to clean. There are probably less expensive dough whisks available, but this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. This whisk is well worth every penny I spent on it!

Very solid piece. The best feature is that the coils are not so tight that dough gets wedged in between them (like a cheaper model I started with). Also, it is one piece (also, unlike a cheaper model I started with that came apart). I figured it was time to upgrade my tools, and I am glad I did. I like that itis dishwasher safe and has a silicone handle. Feels great in my hands.

Works and cleans up better that expected. I've only hand washed so can't attest to dishwasher safe. Would buy again and should've bought sooner. Larger than expected but ideal in size when used. Very sturdy. Perfect gift for someone who bakes.

Because I bake often, I thought it would be worth a few extra dollars to get a really top-quality dough whisk. And I wasright--Brod & Taylor Dough Whisk is an extremely high-quality tool that will last a lifetime and then some. The stainless metal wire extends the entire length of the tool, and the handle is dishwasher safe and long enough to make a difference when you're whisking for several minutes. I highly recommend it.

Perfekt, besser geht es nicht

This should be the one and only hand dough whisk I will never need for this point forward. Solid construction, no wobbling, grippy rubber handle that's soft to touch, no bending using whisk with 2.2kg of dough. - good stuff.Cleans easily with the trade off being double the cost for that solid core. Worth the cost if you plan to use for longer than a year or with large amounts of dough.

Ich schreibe selten eine Bewertung. Aber der Teigrührer ist einfach nur Klasse. Das ist echt ein Teil für die Ewigkeit. Die meisten Teigrührer haben stark verzweigte Drähte, die man sehr schlecht reinigen kann. Das ist bei diesem anders. Alles so super leicht zum saubermachen. Auch keine Holräume wo sich das Wasser stauen kann, wie in manch anderen Teigrührer.Liegt sehr gut in der Hand und man kann super Teige anrühren.Lieber etwas mehr Geld ausgeben, aber dafür ein tolles Arbeitsgerät. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.

Mixes well, strong so it doesn’t feel like it’s about to snap or bend in the hand. Best of all it can go in the dishwasher
