Rumi ( 1207-1273) vellum paper prayer flag, celebrating the great Sufi poet and mystic. This prayer flag contains the following quotes: "We come spinning out of nothingness, scattering stars like dust." "Your task is not to seek for love, but merey to seek and find all the barriers within yourself you have built against it." "What you seek is seeking you." "Out beyond ides of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there." "Silence is the language of God. All else is poor translation." "Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion." These delicate prayer flags are hand-stamped on vellum paper with India Ink. Each panel is a 2 ½" square and there are 9 panels (full length of strand 25") Two little suction cups are included so that the strand can be hung in a window where (light shines through the semi-transparent vellum). They are part of a project in Juarez, Mexico that provides work to women who working to support their families. All our proceeds go directly to the families that make the prayer flags- providing blessings to those receiving them, and blessings to those who make them!
