ALL CONSUMING, PULSE POUNDING, RIVETING. A TOP FAVORITE READ!
Excuse me while I freak out all over this review. You've been warned. It's about to get shouty.WHAT. DID. I. JUST. READ?OMG. OMG. OMG! I'm blown away. Honestly, you guys, I feel book drunk right now. Half of this review probably won't even make sense because it's going to be filled with "ooohhhhsss and ahhhhhhs and gasps and omgs and squeeees." So, if you don't like those types of reviews, look away, cause that's all I've got right now!HOLY FREAKING MOLY!!This is a BOOK ALERT if I ever did see one. This is a 'drop your life, you will never be the same, best book' alert. I'm overwhelmed by the ride this standalone novel just took me on. I was NOT expecting that. At all. Not even a little. When I opened Take Me Back I thought I was going to get an angsty story about a couple who has a broken marriage. I thought, "heart break, regret, sadness, angst." And AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :::freaks out::: It was all that to an extent. It definitely had those feels--the regrets, heartache and emotional struggle--but it was more!SO. MUCH. MORE.On top of ALLLLLLLL that emotion, I got the most kick butt plot line, served to me in the best, most seamless POV, past/present shifts I've ever read. The flow of this novel, the way the story unfolded, was riveting. From the second I met Dane and Kat I had an INSTANT connection to them as a couple. I was pulled into their world, completely invested, desperate to know what they were doing, where they were going, what was wrong, and how they were going to fix it. I couldn't breathe, eat, sleep, move, until I was done. I had a case of book fever. And so, as I kept reading, I got more and more buzzed. The secrets, the twists and turns I never saw coming, all took me deeper. Intense. A wild journey. And no joke, this couple is EVERYTHING. Kat is a hard working, independent go-getter who's addicted to building her business. She uses that to cope with her life problems. And Dane is this strong, completely rugged, amazingly bada** alpha-male with some MAJOR secrets. Kat and Dane have been married two years and obviously, they're having problems. Communication between them is shit. And so, as a last ditch effort, Dane takes Kat to a secluded Island in Belize in an attempt to see if they can save their marriage. From here you think... "OK. I'm going to get a rehash of all painful things they've both done wrong." Yes and no. There's a little rehashing, but MOTHER OF FREAKING HELL. You get a story that leaves you stunned, slack jawed, on the edge of your seat. Really. The suspense element that comes into play is WHOA BABY. You do not want to miss it!!Overall, I'm completely high off this book. This is in my TOP READS of the year with Devil You Know, Egomaniac and Pucked Off. The BEST OF THE BEST here. So breathtaking. From start to finish, addicting, intoxicating, heart wrenching and delicious. I LOVED it. I cannot wait for you to LOVE it. Dane and Kat are going to blow you away. 10 zillion stars for me.

A Tale of Two Stories
Throw out however you think this story is going to be told, then hang on to your knickers! I made a presumption based on the blurb, and got an almost James Bond type story. It started off pretty straight forward, a couple trying to reconnect, and then just...took off. The action was completely unexpected and, as this is my first book by Megan March, I felt like I'd stepped into the middle of a series, the things that happen in this story are a direct result of a past situation. This is a good book, and I enjoyed it, but I thought the story would go in a different direction- a more traditional one I guess. To me, this was a weird amalgamation of two separate plot lines, a romance, and an action packed adrenaline pumping boys-own tale. Sadly, for me, the romance, side came off second best. This book is well worth reading, but just don't expect a couple painfully trying to keep their marriage together - they are just to busy trying to stay alive!

Take Me Back
I found this book from a Facebook group that had recommended it as a read for a couple that was already married, but was trying to reconnect and save their marriage. As I get older (yes, I said that, although I don't feel that way usually), I find myself drawn to books with characters that are more in line with my age, circumstances, and maturity (although don't get me wrong; I love a good New Adult story). Take Me Back fit those qualifications, and I managed to find a new (to me) author in the process!Dane and Kat met about two and a half years ago while on vacation. They met up for weekends here and there until they got married on the beach two years ago. But during those two years, their marriage suffered from secrets that they hope they can recover from.I absolutely loved the first half of this book- getting to understand the characters, seeing the love that they have for each other, while struggling with putting their marriage back together, trying to figure out their secrets so that they can succeed. The second half had a little more action than I generally like in my stories. It was done well, and I liked how it added to the plot, but it seemed a little much for me.I am so glad that I found this book, and will most definitely be checking out other books by Meghan March!

5 STARS! Explosive, unpredictable & passionate!
I’m late to the Meghan March game, I know this, but I’m here now, and I’m not even going to pretend that I’m not impressed. I went into this book having read only the blurb. I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting but suffice it to say it was not what I got because this book took me by surprise in the very best ways. I'm not sure what I can say to give this epic story the justice it is due in my review, but I'll try.I was literally consumed by this gripping, riveting story and devoured it in less than a day. I could barely bring myself to put it down. I was positively gobsmacked by the plot—totally gut-punched by it since I absolutely did not see any of it coming. I was audibly gasping during parts of this book. My hair stood on end and I broke out goosebumps during one particular part. I was up, pacing around my kitchen island, Kindle in hand, mouth hanging open, during a good portion of this book. The hand not holding my Kindle was either curled into a fist, clutching at my imaginary pearls or smacking down on my island when it all threatened to be too much. The secrets, the lies, the overwhelming love this couple had for each other and the scorching-hot, fanning-my-blushing-cheeks chemistry – it all came together into an explosive, unpredictable, passionate storyline that was equal parts heart-breaking, heart-mending and heart-pounding.Saying I loved this book is the understatement of the year. If I could give it more, believe me I would, but five stars is just going to have to do. WOW!

Three Years later and desperate to save their marriage they go off to another tropical island in the hopes of falling in love yet again. A wonderful second chance
A wonderful second chance, action packed adorable romance, with hideous evil, dark undertones. Excellent, well written. Descriptive without lengthy explanations. Adorable Alpha male, fiesty heroine, detestable baddies, and total suspense and intrigue. Meghan always delivers. Have read several of her books, all different. Some series's some stand alone. All totally unmissable and delightfully satisfying.

... to the beginning to read again!
I'm getting addicted to Meghan's writing. This book made me cry, laugh, growl in anger ( and in lust ) and also cheer. The romance, action and interaction pulled me in and had me hooked. The realism and the twists kept me guessing until the last page. Oh how I long to have a love like Kat and Dane - pure, strong and unbreakable. Can't believe I finished it and far too quickly.
