Mini Brass Bulb Horn

I purchased these horns for a program at my school for first graders to use. The horns were a hit and the kids were so excited. However, I had to "audition" for the students who were going to be able to use them because it was difficult for students at this age to squeeze the bulb to get the sound to come out. I think it was an issue with hand strength or speed of the squeeze because I was always able to get the sound out. Great horns! But maybe not for young children.

The horn worked intermittently. The enclosed literature indicated I could bend the reed, which may destroy the reed (according to the instructions), I did bend the reed and it still didn't work properly. I went the the recommended web site for a free replacement and had to pay $8.25 for shipping for a $4.49 reed; that didn't happen. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM

I needed a horn for my musical washboard. This horn fit the ticket. The girls love it.

It sounds like the swamp thing drowning and its prefect! I work in a haunted attraction as a disturbed clown known as "Child's Play". I needed a horn that matched my soul; Dark, demented and dull. This little guy exceeded all my expectations! Easy to operate with one hand and not the least bit tiresome from tooting at guests all night. I am one happy clown with my mini brass horn!!**toot toot**

I really liked this horn... bought it for an ancient Hilo at work... with in 6 months, the bulb broke... the rubber didn't hold up well. This would probably be just fine for someone who were to be a little more careful than that average co-worker.

It's a little tough to get a good toot from this horn. You really have to squeeze it hard and fast

Great little horn ! I put it on my Mom's walker so we know when she is on the move and she gets a kick out of honking at us ! The Bulb DID wear out after a few years tho !! Wish I could get a replacement bulb ??!!

Looks and sounds good. I mounted it on a washboard for a fun instrument.
