Tempress 43035 4" Screw Out Deck Plates - Black

This deck plate is pretty solid. I was surprised that it didn't come with screws for the install, but that's not imperative. The plastic is thick and seems to be high quality. I'd recommend this product to others. I purchased this item to do a deck plate modification on my Toyota 4Runner's air intake.

These are great. I bought two to install in an aluminum boat to gain access to the seat mounts so I could use bolts, washers, and lock nuts rather than lag bolts and they worked perfectly. I did realize that when drilling a pilot hole and putting a stainless screwq, use a size 10 or greater or the poor quality stainless hardware out there will just break.

Quality construction and materials. Used this for my 2014 Nissan Frontier Air box modification. Works great.

I bought this to add a hatch to my Potomac Kayak. I though this would except a dry bag. But nope. No such luck. This thing is just a threaded ring with a plug. It didn't even come with the mounting hardware. I was able to turn it into a dry box be adding a 4" plumbing pipe cap. I would not recommend this or buy another.

I bought this to do the deck plate mod on my 99 4runner. This deck plate worked awesome. I did get some clear silicon and seal it to the airbox just to be sure. But after going around to local boat shops and just putting doing this mod off because i was tryin to find one local for cheap, i would not hesitate to buy this in a heartbeat if i had to do another deck plate mod.

This deck plate shipped quickly and looks great. I used it on my Toyota Tacoma in order to complete a "deck-plate mod" and it fits perfectly on my air box.

good deck plate, a little hard to screw on and off but not too bad. seals nicely.

Great quality hatch cover, made of a semi-flexible plastic so it mounts easily to any slightly uneven surface. Nice and sturdy. Highly recommended.
