Platform Bedlift Kits PBLK-Queen DIY Under Bed Storage Kit

Instructions are lacking to say the least. Also, this doesn’t fit a queen mattress. Once built according to the instructions the frame is 56 3/4 wide. A queen mattress is 60” wide so you’ll have some overhang and a warped mattress. I cut my boards to 59” instead. I also raised the height to 24”. You can tweak the measurements but verify all of your lengths before cutting. I trashed the rope they sent to use as a handle to pull the mattress down and installed a 5” drawer pull. The knots from the rope would have been under the mattress and bumpy. I wanted the mattress flush with the frame. To note - I installed this in a shuttle bus converted to an RV.

Instructions weren’t great but followed previous footprint and worked great.

Serious time consuming project (cutting and finishing wood) - Materials required to purchase for project completion averaged $150 - unique idea but would have been much easier if pre-cut wood was provided so only assembly would be required

I thought more of the hardware needed would be included in the kit.

Returned them as they wouldn’t work on my existing platform bed

Instructions had two measurement errors and skipped steps. Finally got to making the top and realized they don’t include the big long Piano Hinge even though the box says “Mounting Hardware” is included. So frustrating. I’ve seen much better FREE tutorials from Anna White and Shanty 2 Chic. Thought it would be worth it to have the hardware but I guess I’m off to find a piano hinge somewhere now. I emailed them yesterday with a question (no phone number provided) and still haven’t heard back. Would NOT recommend.

Love the Bed Lift! But I'll be honest, i found the direction were very clear although they weren't to bad but it wasn't until i found a video on YouTube that i understood what i needed to do! But i was successful in installing it and i love it!We weren't using the storage space much because it was heavy and hard to lift because we have the thicker mattress but now it's so easy to lift we use it!
