I expected to lose power after installing this muffler, and I was ok with that because my truck was so loud and the droning sound at 85mph was unbearable. I installed it and I have been amazed at how much quieter my truck is, and to my astonishment I think it actually picked up some noticeable power and it seems the off idle throttle response is better too. I really didn't expect that, but it was a pleasant improvement. I have a Ford 6.7L diesel with WickedWheel2 turbocharger. 5" DiamondEye Stainless full exhaust from downpipe back. It was extremely loud. I am a very happy customer and would recommend this muffler to anyone with a diesel pickup truck and a 5" exhaust. Fitment was spot on perfect.

I was skeptical about this, but for the price it was worth a shot.My 6.7 Cummins with a straight 5” pipe resonated so bad I couldn’t stand it. When towing it was so loud in the cab I used my other truck.I installed it today, and it reduced the sound by half at least. Strongly recommend if you need to tone down the sound inside.

Made in USA and seems well built. I cut 11.5" out of my existing piping and installed this with some band clamps before the muffler. It did exactly what I wanted it to do. Toned down my 5" system just enough where it's not annoyingly loud. Just a good sound now. I hope the material lasts, as my exhaust is all stainless and this is the only non-stainless piece.

I put this on a 2007 duramax which had been a full 5 inch straight pipe. It cut out some drone and noise but maybe only 10-15%. I did in fact decibal test this before and after installation and unfortunately it did not change. You will probably have to add a muffler as well to take more of a bite out. It is very well built and shipped very quickly!

It was a perfect hassle free installation. It did tone the noise down very little. I still need to install an additional muffler. But you will notice some noise reduction.

Cheap and fit perfect for what I needed. The drone on my straight pipe 6.7 cummins was unbearable and this solved it. Still loud when you get on the skinny pedal but towing my fifth wheel @ 65mph I can barely hear the truck with my windows up.

Works as advertised. Got rid of the 6.0 power stroke drone. Still great sound but can have a conversation while driving. 2004 Ford Excursion 5” exhaust .. no muffler.
