Bach Trumpet Mouthpiece 5C

This is a great mouthpiece. However I bought the wrong size for my performance expectations. Returned. Beginners stick with the Bach 7C.

Holy cow, this is pricey for something so small! But it is exactly what my grandson needed and Amazon Prime got it to me in TWO days! And you ought to hear his trumpet now! A win all the way around!

I am a returning trumpet player that until recently have only used a Bach 7C. I was determined to try a different since and went to the Bach 3C. Although I liked the sound, I could never get comfortable playing with it. Tried the Bach 5C and found this it is just right for comfort and has a great sound.

I don't know much about trumpets, it's for my kid, so writing this based off what I hear. kids band teacher recommended a bigger size than the stock mouthpiece. kid used this and his notes are much more crisp and could hit higher notes. he loves it.

Was immediately able to improve my playing performance with use of the new mouthpiece with better tone and greater range.

This has been a blessing for my beginner in trumpet! It has made a huge difference .this piece sounded more clearer and more sharp then his other mouth piece. I do believe the other size was a 7 and I think band teacher said it was not the right size for my son ! She recommended this size and she was right ! He feelsMore comfortable and more confident playing !

The mouthpiece meets my needs as far as playing it goes. It provides the sharpness of town, and allows me to play in the higher register. It also focuses to town very well.

I previously ordered this same item in May of last year. I did not open or use it until Fall when it was intended for a particular band/performance. When I opened the 5C box, it had a 3C trumpet mouthpiece in it. When we finally contacted the company. We got 2 replies. One stating they would exchange it if we had all the enclosed paperwork and original box; the second said "no, too much time had passed" and they wouldn't do anything about it. We do like the 5C mouthpiece, but the 3C kills my chops! Amazon was fine. The company who actually mailed the incorrect item ------ thumbs down.
