Accounting All-in-One For Dummies (For Dummies Series)

I got this book to understand accounting basics so I could pass my CIA exam. I passed (yay!) and have a much better understanding of the accounting process than I used to. I have the book in my cube at work and refer to it quite often. Accounting is something that’s no longer strange and scary for me. :-)

Very informative. I recently became an accounting tutor and this is perfect to brush up on some accounting topics I haven't studied in a few years (Yes, funny. An accounting tutor ordering an accounting for dummies book). But it refreshes my memory and includes a lot of content for not an expensive price tag. Worth the buy!

Simple and in layman's terms, as the book promises on the cover. It covers stuff with some examples and analogies to make things easier and sometimes more entertaining to learn and comprehend. I would recommend this book to those who are starting their own business.

Good information. My only complaints are functional ones. The aggrevating thing is that in the Cloud Reader, the Table of Contents strings out so that it can't be read, and in the Kindle edition, the Table of Content links only work in one direction.

Good info for a dummy like myself in this lane of information. This information can provide useful if you do decide to start your own business or rise up the ranks at your current job/career where you have to deal with ugly side of business.
