Guinea Dog

My granddaughter loved this book so much she “made” me read it! I’m busy, and I didn’t want to take the time to read a child’s book, but love gets you to do things you might not want to do! So, I read the book and laughed and laughed. Now, I love sharing it with my other grands. Because they are still learning to read well with expression, I read some and let them read some. We laugh a lot.5 stars!,

Hi my name is Kayla and I'm almost finished with this book. I have one at home which is the hard cover. This book is very organized no messed up pages and so on...As personal I had a dog but, recently passed. The book is mainly about Rufus trying to persuade dad to get a dog for him. Rufus wanted a dog because he thought having a dog would be great. Also all of his neighborhood and her had dogs. So he felt left out. So mom saw him suffer.So mom got a brand new Guinea pig for Rufus the young boy.Find out more by reading this book also its a good ending i believe. Bye.

All-in-all Guinea Dog is an awesome book. It is about a young boy who really wants a dog. But, his father really, REALLY does not like dogs so the boy can’t have one. One day the mom got the boy a guinea pig because she felt bad for her son. When she came home and showed her family (the boy and the father) both of them where unhappy with this compromise. Eventually, the boy finds out that he loves the guinea pig because it loves him back and will do ANYTHING to please him. All-in-all Guinea Dog is an awesome book —Morgan, 12 years old

My kid loves this book. It is the first book he will read on his own. There are no scary plots, no deaths, all just silly.

Guinea dog is an amazing book that'll make you want to get a guinea pig. I have two guinea pigs and was thrilled to read this book. It will make you laugh, smile mischievously, and cry with happiness! I love this book and really recommend this book to all ages! If you like animals and mischief, this is a book for you!

He really enjoyed

My daughter's book club read this book. The club is a group of 5th graders. Her review was that book started off slow, but the middle and end of the story was awesome. The book provided a nice discussion and was fun to read. All of the girls in the book club enjoyed the book and said they would recommend it to others.

Não se engane com a capa engraçadinha. O livro é recheado de maus exemplos que ensinam a criança a ser desobediente, respondona, sarcástica e a ridicularizar os pais. Já comprei centenas de livros da amazon e este foi o primeiro que me dei ao trabalho de devolver. Se não vigiamos ao que expomos nossos filhos, também não podemos culpá-los quando aprendem a nos desrespeitar.

Ein Junge möchte einen Hund, aber sein pedantischer Vater will das nicht, schließlich macht so ein Viech nur Dreck und Ärger. Die Mutter besorgt ein Meerschweinchen als Ersatz, aber der Junge ist erst einmal sehr enttäuscht. Nach und nach merkt er aber, dass sich diese Meersau wie ein Hund benimmt. Die Zoohandlung hat sich irgendwie in Luft aufgelöst, also muss er Fido, das Hundeschweinchen behalten. Die Beiden freunden sich an und haben viel Spaß miteinander. Der Junge versucht immer weniger, so zu sein, wie er glaubt sein zu müssen, sondern wird immer mehr er selbst. Schließlich zeigt ihm sein Haustier, dass es vor allem auf die inneren Werte ankommt.Das Buch ist nett und gut lesbar geschrieben. Einige kleine Wortwitze erschliessen sich auch den Kindern schon. Die Figuren sind liebevoll gezeichnet (vor allem der grenzwertig neurotische Vater). Schön finde ich persönlich, dass in die harmlose und leicht magisch angehauchte Geschichte eine Moral verpackt ist, die sicher einige Kinder gut gebrauchen können: Pfeif auf den Gruppendruck und auf die "In-Crowd", werde du selbst und entwickle dich so, wie du es für richtig hältst.Ein positives Buch mit flotter Geschichte und ausreichend Tiefgang. Wir haben es zusammen im Bett gelesen, immer abwechselnd einen Absatz, dabei viel gelacht, einiges an Ausdrücken und Formulierungen gelernt und uns nach den meisten Kapiteln noch über Schule, Freunde, usw. unterhalten.Von uns eine dicke Kaufempfehlung!

Before I purchase the book I knew it was good, I was right, it's really good and I like it, I recommend any person to read this book

My 10 year old son read all the parts of this series and enjoyed this book. I would recommend this book to similar age kids.
