NEW Produced by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Nash Bridges, Bates Motel) Martial Law (Traditional Chinese: 過江龍) is an American/Canadian crime drama that aired on CBS from 1998 to 2000, and was created by Carlton Cuse. The title character, Sammo Law, portrayed by Sammo Hung, was a Chinese law officer and martial arts expert who came to Los Angeles in search of a colleague and remains in the US. The show was a surprise hit, making Hung the only East Asian headlining a prime-time network series in the United States. At the time, Hung was not fluent in English, and he reportedly recited some of his dialogue phonetically. In many scenes, Hung did not speak at all, making Martial Law perhaps the only US television series in history that featured so little dialogue from the lead character.

Great entertainment and addition to my collection
Remembered when this series first came out on television. Loved the entertainment and always marveled how Sammo Hung could move the way he did. It was great to have the entire series and watching each episode again. Great to have in your collection.

Very Entertaining!
Very fun watch! Love Kelly Hu! Great to see crossover episodes from Walker Texas and Early Edition included.Don’t have to worry about broken pages or scratched. DVD’s are in cd pages similar to the binders that hold cd’s.

The first season is best
While it's always a pleasure to see Sammo Hung in anything, it took me many years to finally find a copy of Martial Law. The first season was excellent, good actors, good scripts and a comic edge to it. Obviously it was an unexpected success and the studio tried to "improve" it. Out went two good actors and the brought Gretchen Egolf in a replacement captain. She is not a good actress and early on in the series sucks the life out of any scene that she's in for more than a few minutes. She also over shares her feelings of inadequacy with Kelly Hu's who's talents are largely wasted by keeping her as a foil to Gretchen Egolf's captain. Even the fight scenes are less well choreographed, although still worth watching and the plotlines aren't quite as good. All in all, the first season is the best.

Great Action TV Series
I watched Martial Law on TV when I was younger and recently noticed it again on TV. I purchased the complete 2 season package and I am not disappointed. The collection arrived in good condition and it is a joy to view.

A Show of my teen years is now with me again!
The package has multiple pages of plastic pockets inside where the CDs are placed. Outside and inside is good quality. Not 1 of CDs ever gave me any issues, everything works great. I’m reunited with 1 of my favorite shows, which now I can watch any time with lots of joy.
