These are durable beauties; with the right netting, a deer would need a blowtorch
Long, sturdy and heavy. These are quality fence posts. They are very heavy, and if installed deeply (2 feet recommended), very solid. The product description says they are made from recycled railroad rails and I believe it. These should last for years. They recommended burying two feet (with a 9' length that leaves a 7 foot height). A sledgehammer was just impractical for me (height plus their weight); had to dig and bury, quite a job, but quite happy with results (I reckon a gas powered post pounder would have been the ticket. I reckon these will last for decades.

5 star product.
I love these. Worth every penny for the quality. This is my second set. I called the company and the rep called me right back and was very easy to speak to with fantastic follow through and follow up. Would purchase again and will recommend. Thanks for my privacy fence in part to these stakes!!

Very happy with my new deer fence
Amazon delivered these very quickly. They're sturdy and heavy, which is what's needed for a fence.A post driver made quick work of driving these down into the ground.I'd recommend these! If they end up rusting and falling apart several years down the road, I'd probably buy them again, just because they're so easy and convenient. :-)

Sturdy, great value!
These posts are extremely sturdy. I used them to place deer proof netting around my raised garden beds. I was able to sink the post 2 1/2 feet with plenty of length above ground to support the netting.
