Does Not Track In All Areas
Mostly works depending on purpose. I bought 3 of them for tracking trucks driving out of Chicago to regional cities in the Midwest. I noticed that whenever they head into the sparsely populated areas of western Illinois and most of Iowa, the tracking stops but resumes when they come back into the area. While the sellers/makers are responsive, they are arrogant to the extent they brag that the trackers have absolutely no problem and work in any part of the world, and their validation are all these glowing reviews here on Amazon. They insist on installing them in a certain way, especially connecting the green wire to the ignition or a wire that's only live when vehicle starts. They've also told me the antenna may not be properly installed, which is untrue.For some of us, we don't care about the health of the vehicle and all that data they're supposed to collect, we only care about location. Truck batteries are located way far from the dashboard or any fuses, sometimes on body of attached trailer.I still recommend the trackers because they do a good job of tracking to within seconds in most areas and don't require much attention after installation. I'd love to hear from other buyers in sparsely populated areas and what they've done to solve the problem. I wish the sellers could address the problem, no doubt an issue to do with the sim cards than anything buyer can do.

Works great. Very accurate. At times thou, there is a signal delay for about 5mins or so but resets it back to every minute per my monthly payment plan. Even it's not on underground garage or anything that obstructs gps signal. That's why I rated it 4 star out of 5. So far so good since I only had it for few days. I gave me the ease of mind knowing where car is.

Perfect for tracking
Have a car buying site Carplug.org and we also finance customers. Purchased this to keep track of our vehicles financed with us and it works great. Alerts us when needed etc and can find the vehicles very quickly if customer gets far behind in payments. I vote yes for this product.

Great trackers, even better support.
These units are tough, relatively easy to install and GPS accuracy is excellent. Trackmate's customer service is the real reason to buy, these guys will get you taken care of in under an hour after you contact them. Good product, Excellent service.

I use this tracking device for my fleet of rental vehicles. I like that it's hardwired system and has a backup battery. Overall very satisfied with the product.
