The Dark Horse

12 years later & you'd swear this album was recorded yesterday! I've listened to Achilles for years on Pandora, bought their mp3s, and finally had to own a physical disc of this first full-length masterpiece! These four guys honestly produce some of the best & most refreshing hardcore I've ever heard. Such precision in the music, such passion in the vocals, and perfectly composed from start to finish. Give this album a spin & Achilles might just become one of your favorite bands that you've never heard of!

This is a classic. Keep your eyes open for the new Achilles record "Hospice" coming out on HEX Records this spring. I saw a few songs from the record performed live and all I can say is "wow." If you own this disc, please keep supporting these guys. They're staying true to hardcore and putting out stuff worth supporting. And if you're like me, it's worth memorizing every last lyric and screaming at every show. If you haven't heard them yet, please buy this now.
